“We will be paying it off for decades … I mean, is there anything good to say about this budget,” Ms Storer said.

As a low income earner, I received a tax rebate of $1080 pa, then it was removed, now with the new tax cuts I will receive approximately $530 pa, damn I will still be $520 worse off, oh , the OECD stated recently that Australia’s tax went up by 7.6% in the last year, so I cannot see how Australian’s are going to be better off in the future.
I'm blind in one eye and can't see out of the other , nearly deaf in both ears , legs are gone can't stand up - lost my house because of the cost of living crisis , would sleep in my car if I still had one - petrol costs , insurance & registration - sit in the gutter now begging - but I still saw through Jiminy Cricket's budget. Was told by a leftist journalist that the budget forecast an early election. Don't know how I managed it but I jumped to my feet and shouted with joy - the only positive - we can vote Labor out earlier.

A political science graduate doing the budget, no wonder he said "strengthen the budget, we'll pay down debt" while spending big and promising deficit after deficit in the next 4 years with smiles and pride .
