- Here’s a clip of Woody’s daughter Nora, talking about our long history with her dad’s work - which goes back to our 2003 album “Blackout” - and that song you may have heard called “Shipping Up To Boston” !!
Wow !!! What an awsome & very interesting story to learn the story behind such amazing talent. I absolutely love to here such a lovely share here our way. Thank you so very much for allowing us to be a part of this awsome history.
Damn shipping out to bosotn is a classic. 2005 was the time I got into Irish folk music and my first discovery of the awesome Murphys. Been a fan ever since. :D
Huge fan of both your dad and DKM..both treasures in their own rights
I’m digging the honesty of the lyrics
Vielen vielen Dank für diese generationsübergreifende Zusammenarbeit. Das ist die Definition von ZEITLOS.

I 'force' DKM and other Irish Punk upon my parents sometimes.
They were born in '50s. They hate it.
But it's pretty awesome when I say "Did you know that Woody Guthrie wrote this song??..."
And then they stop, and nod their heads, and say "Oh?!" ❤
Crazy fan of woodie for other reasons... (anti fasc folk songs lol)....had no idea shipping up to Boston was a woodie cover!!
She look likes Brian May
