They will be. It's pretty clear that they're following the comic books. The first season was issue #1 to issue #12. The next couple of issues, Mark and Eve do hook-up.

Mark and Eve are probably gonna be my main cartoon ship going forward, now that Star Trek: Lower Decks seems set to leave Tendi and Rutherford shippers high and dry. Well, either Mark and Eve or the My Adventures With Superman versions of Clark and Lois.
Hope this means the showrunners got the message that we want to see them together, y'know, like they are in the comics.

3:00 It annoys me that most of the time the black part of the logo on Atom Eve’s chest is drawn as just an “X” instead of being drawn as loops like electrons swirling around an atom. Hopefully Season 2 this will be corrected. This is just a pet peeve of mine.

loved this relationship in the comics. probably one of the best ones. they had their ups and downs but it was a really healthy relationship and it wasn’t a constant back and forth. i hope we get this in the show as well. but seeing as they are such a major factor in the comics i don’t see how they would change that. the only thing that worries me is that they changeg amber’s race and we all know how this is going to go down. that was so unnecessary since she is basically such an unnecessary character in the overall story.

They didn't start together in the comics as well. And they are following the books here. Amber and Mark's problems start around the time we get into E5. So maybe it will happen in the finale.

I like that Eve fulfills a sempai role for the powerful Mark. She started about four years before him and in more adverse conditions than him. Her learning was self-taught and her first fight was incredibly brutal.
(Fights in the middle of a highway, with the stress of avoiding causing collateral casualties, while being beaten almost to death).
She has been seasoned and has a versatility and experience with her powers, as well as a self-confidence that Mark lacks.
I like how she helps him in his beginnings as a superhero and listens to his problems and gives him good advice.
I also like that they start out as friends and then gradually progress to something else once their first romantic experiences with other people fail. (Rex and Amber)
Above all, I like that she doesn't hesitate to remind him of his duty as a superhero when he gets moody due to his personal issues, since she has seen the elephant more than once and been trampled.
I Hope Then Are Going To Be Together.
