It's good to see you again. Just keep up that wonderful sense of humour and positive attitude and I really look forward to following the winter project 😊
I just watched this I have been busy so am catching up .
Back when I had my moggy I looked at referrbng the engine myself and also buying a recon.
Then a mate suggested I used a local engine referb company and I ended up with a fully recon engine for a lot less than buying one.
Perhaps something you could consider in the future when you become rich and famous,
Great to see you coming back to the surface.
Very best wishes to you for the new year.
Good to see another video on Jean the Morris Minor. I have a daily driver project moggie too, Mabel ,a 1965 saloon. I paid too much for her and every weekend seems to be spent fixing something (Much to my wife's and daughter's annoyance ). Mabel is the only way I can get to work, so I do feel your pain to some extent. A mate's wife recently suggested that I "buy a real car", ouch. The truth is that I hate driving, except when I am in Mabel (if she is working ok).
Keep up the good work, I've found your videos really helpful.
Cheers
Andy
Brilliant mate ! I love the clothes peg - a wooden one too, none of your plastic crap. Lovely car -ive got one but she is pretty crusty. Regards from deepest E.Yorks.
Glad you're back.
Glad to see you and Jean again, it's been way to long! Don't let everything that needs to be done overwhelm you. Pick One Job at a Time and work it all the way through, that way you'll feel like your actually accomplishing things as you work through the problems.
Glad to see you're still driving the old moggy! Mine's still broken, and id be fixing it more often if i wasn't rebuilding my Citroën. Good luck with Jean!
Great to see you back on project Jean! Your videos show up the real life problems us owners have living with a Moggie but also very well put together and entertaining! Looking forward to the new updates especially on fitting the wiring loom.
Good to see you and Jean again, since 2019. Oh god👁️👄👁️
Welcome back Mr Frier.! Good to see you, I've been wondering when we would get some more "jean" updates and here we are. Looks like you have some considerable work to do which should give some good footage. Still, chin up chap. Definitely looking forward to the next episode. Greetings from Somerset.
Good to see you back!
I recently got back to mine (the proof is on my channel 😉) after a long time in storage on the other end of the world...
I wouldn't mind helping you with the wiring, I've redone mine from scratch, fitting a pre-made loom would be easy.
Looking forward to seeing the progress.
Great to see you are back, loads to do, just take it one step at a time. A rewiring video will be interesting. Good Luck!
Thanks for putting that up, I feel so much better about mine, I thought it just needed a respray ! The positive being I can now weld , but the list is getting longer. Good luck and look forward to your wiring journey. Hope uni etc went well.
When you do the wiring loom, photos photos photos. Having any sort of point of reference is invaluable. Hopefully finding wiring diagrams and the like isn't going to be too much hassle because of the popularity of the Minor. It's a lot of work the car needs but you sound like you have a sound plan of action in place with it and I look forward to seeing the videos on your progress.
The welding would worry me, everything else I can do.
Good to see you back 👍
Great video. Sometimes I regret selling my Trafalgar Blue Moggy - OGC 998E 🚙
your dedication is both admirable and scary at the same time
Good luck, sounds like a lot of work. Bob
5 year later we finally get another video maybe Jean will be fixed before her 100 year birthday
You need new regulator for your morris minor
Why would you just let the gearbox destroy its self and not actually sort it out…
