I've seen them headline a small venue in Pittsburgh and open up for Modest Mouse at an outdoor venue in Columbus. Given the difference in venues, they still out on a hell of a show
I showed some friends this and they didn't like her voice. I couldn't understand. I don't hear this anywhere. Since coming upon it I keep listening. Maybe a friend could learn to love it too.
It's so god damn good though, very unique and you can just tell that this song is from the heart for her! That's the kind of vocals I wish people would put on the tallest pedestal in music.

I came because of you all. regretfully I found this to be the peak of my interest in the band. her voice and spectrum is excellent but the instrumental is monotone for most songs and lies somewhat between the strokes and some bullshit that would be on in target. sounds like they are playing telecasters or something. I would recommend some dimarzio pickups a distortion pedal and some bass to match the vocals and everything would be way better. I liked the lyrics to this one too. I feel well dressed often. btw nightvale is awesome. you all seem to do a excellent job in sales and promotion of upcoming events. you are owning it. good work you fucking weirdos, I love you.

when you put the volume on full-blast you can hear something like an echo, where she sings the line before the part should be. i think it must be a mistake that happened in the studio.

Took my daughter to an all ages show here in Cali and was fortunate enough to come across Hop Along....they were great live...beautiful voice :)

Hop Along is quite the experimental rock band. I can see how they might not agree with how she sings. People sometimes don't like change.
