Lolol....I live on the other side of town. Main Street in Clinton is a quaint destination with a few coffee shops, several places to eat, leisurely strolling, nice little shops.....I am laughing bc the most famous part of tiny Clinton was missed. Before turning right onto the bridge there is a beautiful old red mill that is one of the most photographed places in NJ. All you have to do is drive over the bridge, park the car, turn around and walk a few feet to the river edge and see the pretty red historic mill with a small waterfall. Clinton is a quiet town but they have several events throughout the year: St. Patty's Day Parade, Christmas Parade, Rubber Ducky Race, 5k Turkey Trot Run, etc....The only chain stores close by are McDonalds, Walmart, Dunkin Donuts, Cracker Barrel, a few hotels, etc...Up the road is the Clinton Station Diner open 24/7. Food is good here. Nice size portions. Parking in Clinton can be tough.
I remember coming off of Interstate and passing that big stone house near the bridge back in 1989 - took several trips out there in the summer of 89 to Clinton
Is there ANYTHING to do in this town? The only places to eat are the diner and McDonald’s. No Taco Bell, no Chili’s, only one sushi place and one barber shop (which sucks btw). I guess it’s nice and peaceful to live and sleep but during the day, I leave town almost everyday.
@@gone.golfing as a person who grew up here (don’t live here anymore) not really entertainment wise. If u wanna do something fun u go to Somerville or branch burg or somewhere in that area. Food wise, there’s a lot of good food here, just not fast food. Also there is a lot of good food nearby it too. Fourchette’s chese is awesome, same with Toscana’s pizza. Christy’s has amazing baguettes. I like designer dawgs and you can’t diss that Cracker Barrel. That’s just Clinton and that doesn’t include restaurants/stores out of Clinton that are nearby like flemington, Lebanon, Califon, Tewksbury, and more
@@gone.golfing Not much to do but Front Row Barber is really legit. I grew up here but live in Boston now. Any time I go home to visit the parents I make sure to get a cut there.
So this is what the highest property tax in the nation gets you
