What a heart-felt talk. Alber is so charismatic and talks with such ease and wisdom. In absolute awe of him and his work. The system in the current industry needs to change so that geniuses like Alber are not left without a 'home'.
This should’ve been triple the amount of time it was. I could listen to him speak forever.

I would have jumped onto that podium and given this marvellous man a great, big hug! Alber Elbaz, was and still is, to fashion one of the greats. It astounds me that he hasn't been offered a contract to helm a leading fashion house when he has both the know-how and the talent. But, everything happens for a reason and in due course, and as he reflects, 'to find oneself is important' I firmly agree with that. We love you Alber, and we love you Imran for bringing this wonderful visionary on BOF voice. JUst love all around.

Don't know the man much but deeply saddened by his passing! His talk was an absolute masterclass - I go back to this one again and again. It feeds my spirit!

Respect! Beautiful speech but lost in translation to discuss reimagining the Fashion System. Whoever wants to speak and think about reimagining the, it is not about changing the perception, but it should be about making the fashion sustainable because on a dead planet there is no use reimagining any system. No one cannot assume and think about reimaging any system without sustainability.
