Restart events take a lot of power from the main or "restart" battery and may cause the voltage to drop too low to power other vehicle systems like entertainment systems, navigation, driver assist systems, etc.
The 2014-2015 Subaru Crosstrek hybrid has three batteries. And your title says (Subaru Crosstrek hybrid battery replacement - The battery shop.) So you need to correct your title. Because your video is false. You're replacing the the the main battery that starts the car and runs the accessories that is on the left hand side of the car. well as the Auxiliary battery that only stops and starts the car for its intended purpose. As well as to run the accessories while it's in the EV mode state. It's not meant for the hybrid system other than to kick back on the engine after the hybrid system done being used. The hybrid battery is in the trunk in the wheel well if you did not know it's a nickel metal hydride battery at least the version I have. So let's see a video about that instead of a video with a false title. The battery shop should have an understanding before making a video of what systems are talking about. To title should read ( Replacing Main And Auxiliary Subaru Crosstrek XV. Batteries 2014-2015. )

Rather petty. Yes there is a high voltage battery pack in the rear, but the title says "battery replacement" not high voltage battery pack replacement.
Great tutorial. At the end you mentioned registering the new battery with the car. Does this need to be done with a 2014 XV Crosstrek Hybrid?
