    I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have to ask you; sometimes I hear an Aussie accent come through. Are you American by birth?

      Born in Canada to an Australian father and a British mother. lived there until I was 8 then lived in Central Africa until I was 10 then Miami Florida until I was 14, then Australia until I was about 35 then Hawaii for 7 years and now mostly back in Australia but I spend a lot of time in the US, Canada and the UK. My wife is American though so we talk a lot in American English.

      @@brandonraynor what kind of peer reviewed studies have been done on these techniques or of vague "residual tension" that stem from your toes and apparently lock up your body?

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  5 років тому +10

      It’s not about a bunch of studies Nick, the case studies on people have shown its effectiveness. Do you know the cost of doing peer reviewed studies? They can be very expensive. Not only that we make massage suit the person and everyone is different and everyone is willing to take different pressures so how could you do a peer reviewed study on such an art form? Also who would fund it? It’s not like a pharmaceutical drug that someone can patent. It’s an individualised treatment to suit a particular persons unique condition. But yeah I would love to take 10 people who have frozen shoulder and are willing to receive Raynor massage and compare the results to 10 people who don’t and compare. But who will fund it? Not governments as they are pawns of multinational pharmaceutical companies who profit from the suffering of people.
