Have an 18 1.5t Touring. Took some getting used to the cvt but the quality of the car, interior, features are incredible.

Great review. Good job. Just want to mention one point, Sport mode does not provide more power. Just tunes the suspension a bit & cranks up the gear shift just a tad bit. But overall an informative review.
Went with the Honda Sport with the 2.0 Turbo charged engine which includes the 10 speed automatic transmission. And I LOVE it...
I own the same car in lunar silver metallic,its an absolute blast to drive.The 2.0t with the 10speed make it a solid ride.

This is very helpful, my dad is looking for a car for me and he wants to buy me a ice car because he has the money and because I also worked very hard for it. And the accord is one of the cars he’s considering, I’m also getting a nice car because it’s gonna be my only car for the next 10 to 12 years.
you’ll love it. even the lx has plenty of features for someone. only things it’s really lacking is carplay and fog lights. if that isn’t a deal breaker i’d go for that. plus the smaller rims give better gas mileage.

I have the 2018 LX and it does have apple car play, if yours doesn’t then take it to the dealership they will fix that issue most likely for free
@@adilchaudhry8642 2018 LX does? I don't think so dude. Unless you live in a different region. The apple car play/android auto would start at the Sport trim and up on the Accords.
The seats in the 1.5t sport are vinyl and cloth, not leather and cloth. Also, the entertainment unit has Android Auto in addition to Apple Car Play. Thanks, appreciate your review!

i never tried it but does the charging pas that good ? i would think wile driving as soon as you hit a bumo or make a turn, as soon as the phone shift out of the pad because of the momentum it will stop charging. thats why i prefer a wire charger

That is a skewed way to look at the Sport mode option.
In Sport mode, the car will perform to its designed limits. There is nothing added to temporarily boost power. So saying that Sport mode adds power is like suggesting that it the car gets a boost, like nitrous oxide boosts racing cars (until the nitrous oxide tank runs out).
When you are not in Sport mode, the car retards its speed, via gear choices, and via its electronic throttle sending less fuel to the engine, etc.
To put it another way...
The car has 3 mode choices: 1) Econ, 2 Normal, and 3) Sport
Choices 1 and 2 reduces the car's performance (with #1 reducing the performance the most), in pursuit of better fuel economy. Choice 3 runs the car without any customer added restrictions.

What happened to the Sport 2.0?
You reviewed the Sport 1.5, which does not include several features that are included in with the Sport 2.0.
-- Powered sun roof.
-- Button on the rear exterior of the trunk to let you open the trunk (as long as the remote is with you or in the car).
-- Remote starter, which is great in the winter, so that you do not have to get in to a freezing car.
-- Michelin tires (vs Goodyear tires on the 1.5) -- the Michelin tires perform better.
-- Push button transmission (if you choose the automatic transmission) vs the customary type shifter that comes with the 1.5 automatic CVT.
-- Ten speed transmission (if you choose the automatic transmission) vs the CVT that comes with the 1.5
-- Larger brakes.
-- More power vs the 1.5 Sport model.
Otherwise, a very good review.

It's not an 8-in. display, only 7 in.
And "stain-resistant cloth seats", well, lemme tell ya that's a big no. My bad for once again being drawn to light-colored seats, I guess.
