This is the one moment I appreciate this song compressed, because it sounds WAY less busy than the console one. And I can appreciate the instruments more.
Before you make the same comment a dozen others have made: YES, you can like this version better; NO, you cannot demand others to feel the same. Thank you!
Yeah, I don't think I managed to get it in the sound library so had to replay the level. I swear I half memorized the level bc of the thousands of times I played it
The sheer will to not trip and to get away from the tail and the intense music hitting your ear really made the DS version of terminal velocity special. The Wii version is fine :/ just use super sonic. It's easy without it either way.
super sonic is post game in wii isn’t it? The stages also serve different purposes in each game, too. Act 2 is where the feeling that the DS version has is, and is personally more impactful (for me anyway). I personally enjoy the aesthetic of the wii version too although the clear view of the ds version is awesome as well. I just like the stage in general tbh
I used to mash all the buttons until I won but now that I can mash y cause metroid dread runs I have an easier time fighting the boss the way it was supposed to
I wish this more of a longer stage in the ds version and have the boss as the separate as for act 2 I’d rather not because of the company known for death pits in advance 2 they’ll probably spam that to death in act 2 lol 😂
when compression makes a song better
True XD
does it though
does it have its charm? yes.
is it better? no.
@@howisthis8849 disagree, the wii version's melody blends with the background too much

I always felt the busyness fit the stage, as storywise there’s quite a bit going on, and it especially fits act 2 of the wii version
has ANYBODY ever gotten through this stage damageless?
it just felt impossible
Just use the your boost to get away from the tail but don't hold it.
i did
maybe one or more times
i have
Pretty sure I did as a kid by replaying this game way too many times... but even after many runs it was still really difficult 😂
Unpopular Opinion: This version of Terminal Velocity is better than the Wii and Ultimate version
Very popular opinion actually.
As someone who grew up with the DS version, good opinion 👍
They’re all nice even tho I grew up with Wii version.

@@1gta4gta Yeah. People say it all the time. You don't have to agree. It won't change the truth.

Finally
I hate how casually the tail chasing you just sways back and forth. It's so infuriating
And keep crashing into stuff
can we all admit we replayed this level just for the song

okay i admit it...
AND I DON'T REGRET IT! :D
Yeah, I don't think I managed to get it in the sound library so had to replay the level. I swear I half memorized the level bc of the thousands of times I played it
So this is where I heard the electric guitar
I hate this level cuz it’s so short but damn do I love this song

This is better then the original
There's no original, is just the DS version of Colors.
@@Xardimodswhat he means by original is the wii version. He makes a fair point though.
how
God no lmfao
This is the best damn song in Sonic Colours as a whole only because of the compression
this stage used to scare me for some reason, even act 2 was hard because as a kid i couldn’t button mash for shit.
I used to mash all the buttons until I won but now that I can mash y cause metroid dread runs I have an easier time fighting the boss the way it was supposed to
Mash all 4 buttons instead, the big thumb strat
I love it!
Anyone else try holding the left/right button only to find out you can just run out into empty space?
The official song of being late for your flight
that breakdown section is so good
