Thank you for posting your videos of Woolton. I attended St. Peter’s Primary school from 1945 to 1948 and each day we walked from school, which was opposite the church down Out Lane to a building about half way on the right for our lunch.
Been down a few memory foxholes making these videos. Pleased you liked it.

A great view of Liverpool. If I'm correct, video of recent days, leaves falling down giving way to a new season, the look of fall. I enjoyed the history narrative of Out Lane! Thank you Jeff for another good post of Liverpool!

@@strawberryfields1149 I'm not perplexed. I know who I am. i came from a small town in Central California. Stepped and worked with many famous actors, singers etc....my decades at 20th Century-Fox and Warner Bros. Television in Hollywood. So many studios I've been in from EMI Studios on Abbey Road, Sunset Studios in Hollywood to Warner Bros Sound Stages.Been all around this world and I'm thankful to the Lord for all that I've had seen and lived. Simple surroundings, the upbringing makes great people for the world to admire!
Thanks for the wander. The gate in the wall was there in the 70s. The trees are all bigger. I would meet my Mum at the top of the Lane, my angel. There was an abattoir half way down. Pigs. Screemed like f**k. They tinned their black puddings. I remember they sold them at Woolton fête on Camp Hill in a bun whilst the majorettes swung pom poms prancing in their leotards, and St. John's treated equine woundings. Odd what imprints the memory cells.
He also made Slave owning illegal with pain of a fine paid to him. Which opened the way Britain stopping the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade which they did by getting a lone in 1835 which was not paid off till 2015

Yeah, the old abattoir, its a Sainsburys now. Poor pigs, they know what's going on.

not from liverpool but heard them talk about 'wools' a lot is this someone from woolton
Wools is a term used to describe people from outside Liverpool, usually Widnes and deeper into Cheshire. But I have heard Woolton included as well.
