Stafford is world class. His crossing patterns yesterdays looked like hand offs. Even as a Superbowl champ QB, he's truly unde rated. And by the way, he has a JV quality O-line. Amazing!
I'm a Seattle fan so I tend to prefer when division rivals don't do well, but I'm so happy that Stafford will retire with at least one super bowl win. He's still one of the best in the game. If he's on the field, they always have a shot.
That drive back from LA to SF had to be a nightmare lol! Life is so much better when your team wins. Shoutout to Dodgers as well.
Rich, you say this all the time, but I'll def go with you on it: when Stafford is out there in his groove slinging it, no one is better - as good is as close as it gets.
Stafford's throws are one thing but his knowledge to change plays and look off defenders is amazing.

That comeback win was his 36th, tying him with Drew Brees for 5th all time. It was his 45th game winning drive which is 7th all time, two behind Dan Marino and two ahead of Brett Favre. 222 more yards and Stafford will be 10th all time, moving past Eli Manning.
Matthew Stafford is my favorite player in the league, precisely because of games like this. He makes the improbable, probable. As a Lions fan, when the coverage from our game switched to the Rams-49ers game, suddenly at 24-24 with the Rams driving for a game winning FG, after the 49ers had been leading by 2 TDs the entire game, I wasn't surprised.
I was delighted, because I knew what was about to go down, as it always does.
"Oh nice! Bonus Stafford comeback coverage! perfect!"
Sure enough, next play, he draws the PI on the free play and the Rams are in FG range.
He's just _that guy._ Comeback King. Even as someone who's watched him for well over a decade, I shake my head at just how great he is. .
What a moral boost for the Rams, to know they have a QB like that. All you gotta do is give him a chance to win it for ya.
The Rams grew big time as a team. Players with incredible character.

Rich, I share your "No concern at all" for the 49ers. Injuries or not, that kid, your boy, plays absolutely lights out football. As an Eagles fan, I am seriously DREADING the next 10-20 years of having to play that team now. He is top 5 MVP, no doubt.
The issue with the stadium is this…. Only the rich folks can afford to buy season tickets at SoFi. The larger LA area is solid Ram Family. They just can’t afford to buy tickets. We are happy to take all those whiner fans money. Their money will make us better going forward.

As a Seattle fan, I'm a little stunned they're up 2 games in the division already. Did NOT see that coming. Of course, we have to hope they still have Detroit hexed, because that's the first huge test for the team.
And although SF and LA are rivals...those QBs are fantastic. Drives me nuts. I don't buy into the Purdy hate talk because he's done nothing but win since he took the field a couple years ago. Just because he's not flashy like Mahomes doesn't mean he's not a great QB.

He’s absolutely elite. Stafford makes throws that no other QB in the league can make. The same can’t be said about the other QBs.
Both Stafford and Purdy are elite, I'm not sure who you're dissing. Stafford's been an amazing passer for a long long time and Purdy has had one of the best career starts in NFL history, including this year when he's top 3 in yards, completion %, deep throws, and QBR yet again.
