@@DiazA91Finally, you are writing about beach volleyball, a topic I’ve been searching high and low when it comes to Oakleys. Please tell me why you decided on the Spheara and the 24K lenses for beach volleyball? Did you consider other choices? I’m debating between the Spheara, the Sutro Lite or the Sutro Sweep. I have preference for the Spheara because of the available option of having polarized Prizm lenses with that model vs the Sutros. What’s your or any other beach volleyball player about that?
@@rainerludwig8729 i play beach volley and i have the sphaera with Deep water polarized prizm lens and they are great, under strong sunlight the polarization does his job well.
I have a pair of sphaeras on the way. I’ve always worn either radars or any m frame. I like the look of the sphaeras a lot just home that they are as comfortable as my radars!! Thanks for the review!
I tried the Sphaeras in store and that temple notch feels no natural to use. Actually surprised cuz I thought it would be gimmicky but no, i was wearing a hat and it did feel easier/less cumbersome than reaching the normal way
Sutro is a full frame sunglass meaning the lens is entirely encapsulated by the frame. The Sutro Lite is a semi-rimless model where the bottom of the lens is exposed.
Glad you enjoyed the review! Rob is wearing the Oakley Holbrook XL with PRIZM Low Light lenses in this video. Check them out www.sportrx.com/oakley-holbrook-xl.html
Hey Lucas! Price can vary on the frame+lens combination you choose, but here are links to the pages for the Sutro Lite & Sphaera: 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-sphaera.html 🔥 👉 www.sportrx.com/oakley-sutro-lite.html 🔥
That olé thing on the side temples of the Oakley Sphaeras is just dumb. It is. It looks stupid. Why do you need a hole on the side of your glasses? To insert your finger in to have a harder time to take your glasses off? Come on. Just unbelievably gimmicky. Nobody’s falling for that.

@@WernerKellens I've found the Oakley EVZero line to be great for running and cycling. For running, they are super lightweight and well vented (having no frame to impede airflow). For cycling they fog less (due to the frameless design) and are easy to see over and off to the side (for traffic coming from behind). I like the Sutro Lites better from an aesthetic perspective for cycling (they balance against the bulkiness of a helmet), but for functionality its EVZeroes all the way.
Just used my Sphaeras on an MTB ride for the first time, and they were fantastic!
Glad you like them!
Id say a big difference is also you can get the sphaera with polarized lenses. I dont believe there are any sutros with polarized lenses
Really don’t know why they don’t make sutro’s polarized
Great info! We missed that! Thank!
Just got my Sphaeras and I love them.
What lens color did you get ?
@@avxrevo Prizm 24k Gold
Great for Beach Volleyball.

How is Oakley Sutro different from Oakley Sutro Lite?
Sutro is a full frame sunglass meaning the lens is entirely encapsulated by the frame. The Sutro Lite is a semi-rimless model where the bottom of the lens is exposed.
Sphaera is the best looking Oakley sunglasses I have tried. I never liked any Oakley sunglasses except for this one.
Amazing review ;) one question please : what’s your model and brand of eyeglass in this video????🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

What type of lens is on the sutro lite? 😊
I wonder the same thing too 😊
It's the PRIZM Road lens. Check them out here www.sportrx.com/oakley-sutro-lite.html

Will say it does help when you wear them with a hat... you can grab the sides of the sunglasses to remove them without needing to push your hat up.
Can you use the Sutro for running and cycling?
Absolutely! 🔥
