You bought the same two metal detectors I did to get back in the game. The Manticore on sale and the X-Terra Pro as a backup. Glad to see you back at it again. You were making videos when I first started detecting
Thank you. Hope to get some more videos out soon. I had no power or water for 7 days due to Helene, but fortunately, there was no real damage to my property.
I use mine here on the treasure coast of Florida, I hunt daily with this machine and have found some really old relics from 1715 fleet ship wrecks, this machine works great in salt water, I only hunt the beach, this machine is a grand slam for the price,
I’m looking to purchase my first detector. I plan on using on islands and gravel bars on a river. Is this the right machine for the job? Just found your channel. Liking it so far!
@riverrat92 Thanks, and yes, this is a good machine for water. I purchased a set of waterproof headphones for mine as well so I can hear what's going on completely submerged. This will be my primary for that kind of work. I have a Manticore that's waterproof as well, but it was so expensive, I'd be afraid to dunk it once the warranty is over. Lol
Wow, $271.00. I've been running with the Land Ranger Pro for 3 years and having fun, but it keeps breaking! Would this be a better choice? Thanks for this video 😊👍
@Bad_Boy-Kraken That's the point. 40 are or so more dollars than an Ace 250 and you have a machine you really do not need to upgrade to get features like ground balance, etc.
Thankyou. Finally a tutorial of the x-terra pro i can actually understand.

@Jayson90210 I like the Land Ranger,Pro,but this is a big step up in quality and performance. Plus, it's submersible.
Pinpoint button? LRP were good for failing button membranes
This is NOT a beginner MD
