Hi golfcharlie 232.
4 years ago, I didn`t complete high school and didn`t got any high school diploma. I almost gave up everything and was depressed for a long time. Didn`t have any job or anything. I just woke up in the mornings and did nothing than just wondering what to do. I didn`t see any future. BUT, suddenly I found your channel. It just happened. From that moment everything changed seriously. I got up and woke up from hell. Went back to high school, completed it and got my diploma. After high school I applied Flight Academy and everything just became better and better. At first the start of pilot education was really hard for me, but everytime it became hard, then I just watched your vidoes and continued and REFUSED to give up. It helped med A LOT. So now i have PPL, CPL, and ATPL in my pocket. I hope that I can get job and after become captain in a 777-300 er. Thank you very much. :D

cheesystick33 That is just a screen name I use. I'm just one of a million other musicians who took the other path. I have had a wonderful career as a performing and recording musician. I flew for years - instrument rated, 600+ hours - until I could no longer afford it.
Not many people can put an airplane video together well with music. This video is one of the only airplane videos i like. Great video thanks for making this and sharing :)

I truly admire your videos and your life as a pilot! I am currently studying my ATPL theories at distance and working at the same time! Been there, done that. If you had the opportunity to work as a flight attendant you had a lod of landings and take-offs inside the cockpit with the pilots. It's an extremly nice and cool thing and you'll remember it forever :D

Just a question to any professionals out there: Why do pilots commonly start the #2 Engine first? Thanks.
Keep it up pilots! You are the fabrics that keep this world truly connected :).
It depends on the size. Something like a King Air, the #2 engine is started first since it is closer to the electrical source that supplies power. This means on a battery start the #2 will receive more power, placing less strain on the battery and less chance of a hung start.
I havent made my way into the larger equipment yet so I can only speculate. Ive been told it has to do with the Company Operations Manual and SOPs, but also which engine is cleared to start by the pushback crew. Some airlines hut down the #2 engine when taxiing to the gate to save fuel and allow quicker access by ground crew once at the gate, so it may be another means of balancing the times on each engine.
