Just got back from Universal and my teen twins (who did everything b/c we were there all day for four straight days) both said this was by FAR their best thing they did! They loved it!
I kinda miss the original horror make up show with the fly pods and the gunshot wound to the head illusion. The current version is getting old. I wish they would introduce new illusions and tricks...there must be lots of new techniques and technologies out there for Universal to choose from. Does anyone know whether this attraction is on the chopping block or not? It seems like Universal is trying to get rid of all the established attractions in favor for brand new ones.
I do agree that there is a lot of new techniques and tricks out there to show off, but the recent show is correct when they say that CGI and motion capture has mostly taken over SFX makeup. It's sad, but hey, I don't mind the show being the way it is, I love it. :)
I have been to the show twice, they always go for east Asian tourists. Perhaps for the jokes you said or sometimes in my case they don't understand English.

But things Will be different From the SixFlags version and Universal version. In the universal version it is everything is just Mario related franchises only such as Mario Yoshi donkey Kong and Wario. For the SixFlags version all the Nintendo characters are non-related to Mario related franchises.
Because just like all shows, actors need to take breaks, so they'll usually have two sets of actors a day so they can do every other show if I'm correct!
