Fun fact: In 1832. After Franz Liszt visited Paganini's violin concert, he isolated himself, determined to write the most virtuosic piano music possible! He studied Paganini's work and arranged it for the piano, a couple years later (In 1834), the first La Campanella was born! Still called "Grande De Fantasie Bravoure Sur La Clochette (This piece)" It was 15 minutes long. Liszt refined the piece to that one version in 1838, calling it "La Campanella" It was not literally banned, but when Franz Liszt realized that barely anyone was able to play it, he revised it to the version that is famous today... Funny enough, the today-famous version is still known for being "impossible"
In 1838, he made another very difficult version with the theme of a violin concerto from the middle of the piece. (this and others are the 12 transcendental studies on the theme of paganini S140. Among them, we have study n4B, which has few recordings and no recording without errors in the original tempo) The version we know was made in 1851, together with studies S141
Repent and put your trust in Jesus. We've all sinned and deserve Hell. Jesus died on the cross and was resurrected, defeating death and sin. Since we broke the law, Jesus paid our fine. Since he paid it, we can be let go. We must repent and trust in Jesus to be saved. Revelation 21:8 Romans 3:23 John 3:16 Romans 6:23 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 Revalation 3:20 Romans 10:13❤😊❤
This specific version honestly has a lot of potential in being made into an amazing orchestral ensemble, unless it already has - I've looked it up, but I haven't seen anything of the sort. Wouldn't that be something though? Just imagine those possibilities ^^ I may as well attempt and make one myself on my composing platform, haha.
Well I mean the closest you’ll get to this specific rendition is Paganini’s violin concerto in B-minor. Which this piece is based off. Still they sound vastly different in my opinion

The popular version of La Campanella is actually on the easier end of Liszt's works. 😅
When a Liszt music starts slow as here, one knows what awaits in the upcoming minutes...
6:51 it sounds so epic , must be a nice feeling being able to play this.
And it's extemely difficult to practice. And yes it's super epic :D

(I just deleted the reply)
this song sounds like Liszt mixed together 1838 La Campanella, Souvenir de Paganini - Chopin, and Tritsch Tratsch Polka - Strauss/Cziffra
That’s one the best Synthesia videos I have ever seen
Big thanks!

Liszt actually did attempt to create an orchestral ensemble with this piece, but didn't finish it, and it got lost.
