more helpful than my teacher 2. he say to ask questions but everyone is scared of him and if it is a "dumb question" he yell at us because its so called "easy" thanks for the help.
These videos make my adhd brain happy, straight to the point, they explain it in a way that makes sense, lots of visuals and examples, captions with the audio, you guys make learning easy and fun, thank you :]
I am trying to figure out how to explain this to my kid. Another example of a simple concept being overly complicated by poor explanation. Why, in these examples, is X first, on the left, and Y second, on the right? If you simply write Y first on the left, then X second on the right, all you have to do is write a division symbol in between them and several minutes of convoluted explanation becomes visually clear. Is there a reason that you have to write it with the X on the left? Is there a reason that you have to write the division problem in fractional form? Maybe I am missing something, but for someone who is mathematically challenged, trying to explain this to someone who is also mathematically challenged, this all seems unnecessarily overly complicated. Am I missing something or am I just better at dumbing it down? Edit: I'm sorry that I came off that way. Your explanation was very good and helped me to understand what I need to know to teach my kid. Thank you. My complaint is against the styling of how math is taught to children who feel so lost. We don't give "dumbing things down" for initial understanding enough credit.
Nathan Rojas we are learning more advanced form of it using graphs to express kinematic dynamics but its the same concept. Im astounded that 7th graders are learning this
This did not help me what so ever my homework question was write 4 sets of values that represent 1/3=y in the table below in a proportional relationship

Thank you so much. I have a big quiz coming up tomorrow

Bro I’m in seventh grade advanced math and I have a test tomorrow and I don’t want to get dropped from the class so this helped a lot!
same
I can’t describe how helpful this was with words
How can anyone explain every single subject and topic in the subjects so perfectly
Wait where did they get the 4?
The 4 is maybe from the question they say 1 x = 4 x or from the table
thank you so much beast guy ever
love you
I have a test tomorrow and I was absent on this lesson you a life saver
this is a perfect way to describe proportional relationships.
It's funny how u search these videos and they start off with the easy questions while ur stick with the really hard ones
Very useful because teacher made it more confusing than it had to.
These videos make my adhd brain happy, straight to the point, they explain it in a way that makes sense, lots of visuals and examples, captions with the audio, you guys make learning easy and fun, thank you :]
Thank you! This video is super helpful
This is ten times better than my teacher and I actually comprehend the material now
Lunulate FN
My teacher actually did an ok job explaining this, i just have to write stuff down about it for HW
Love this
😍
May I ask what program or app are you using to write the problems so clearly?
sorry I'm now just doing this in math I'm in 6th grade but is this a proportion? I understand this but i wanna make sure
Your in ninth grade now?
this helps me a lot thanks Khan Academy
POV: you didn't pay attention in class :')
Thanks this helps with my math lesson.
this was more helpful then my math teacher.
Thanks I need to get my grades up and this helped so much better than my teacher teaching
Tyyyyyyyyyyyy😭💳💥💥💥💥💥
ITS THE DEADLINE FOR MY LAST SEMESTER AND I AM NOT OKAY🙃
Him: teaching me

Thank you
But not what I was looking for

Thank you ma dude
teachers expect us to be omniscient

Teacher gets mad for asking questions. Then complains that we never ask questions.
lol thats dumb
THANK YOU!!!
What about inversely proportional?
Where did the variable k come from at 4:37?
It’s another example for think
This is not 7th grade material. I learned this in grade 11 academic physics
Happy for real? I’m in 7th learning about it rn
Oh wow...
Lol
