For anyone having trouble with this...
I couldn't learn this when I was in middle and high school. I went onto college and found out I was capable of learning this stuff, just not in a standard classroom setting. I now have two degrees, one of which is a mechanical engineering degree. I found myself here because I wanted to brush up on some things for the military ASVAB test when I remembered how difficult this was when I was a kid. So please don't feel stupid if you're having difficulty learning this especially if its your first time. No one is above math.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the only way to simplify it all the way is to divide both numbers by 5 not 2

Right, I had to pause there, also. The ratio of dogs to horses 5:10 reduces to 1:2, 1 dog for every 2 horses.

I wish khan academy would do ACT practice, topic-wise, like that of the SAT, because I'm literally plummeting and I don't have 1000 dollars to pay for for-profit educational organizations. I surely will be donating a lot to khan academy for their indelible efforts. What I like most about the khan academy practice questions is that they are topic-oriented and Don't seem to end. It would also be great if the programmers made a screen time restriction that you can freely adjust to prevent you from zoning out on your phone and kind of forcing you to finish the daily 120 questions. That would be a dream come true. I surely will be programming something like that for the ACT. It will be hard but worth it if it's going to help someone out of the trauma I'm going through rn, Being unable to find topic-oriented material.
