    Are we packing too heavy, what can come out of the bag? Feel free to leave a comment.

      Whatever you're comfortable carrying with is the perfect weight. If you think it's too heavy, then consider taking non essentials out but if its fine for you i see no issue. I consider it extra weight training

      @GeoffGreenawayOutdoors  3 місяці тому

      @@jackdunn3980 totally agree, unless I come into money to go ultra light I just have to grin and bear it. It definitely goes down as extra training, we done a big hike and camp in Wicklow and I tell you this I sure felt it the next few days 😂.

    The 4pm push, I’m the same on the Tuesday nights. Getting down to one sleep mat and one bag will deffo save space and weight. The 900 seems a good compromise of weight, spec and packable size - I had mine rammed into a dry bag, can really get it compressed and force the air out before sealing the dry bag. Mat, get something about the R5 to R7 range for heat. These can range from maybe 500-900 grams, but worth it. The Flux 7 may be a shout. I find it’s the GoPro , batteries or charging packs and the drone that takes weight and bulk. The beer doesnay help right enough , whisky soon when it gets colder. Great video again 👍

      @@cowalexplorer yea I get a half day on Friday but by the time I do the school pick ups i wouldn’t be leaving till three so not many options at that time of the day unfortunately. I need to get a good look at the 900, I haven’t even had it out of the bag yet which isnt like me. I’m going to look up this flux r7 mat as well, I like that design for a pad. I’m thinking of investing in a hip flask and bringing whiskey myself, just to keep me warm obviously 😂 😜. Only catching up on the comments now, we where out on the hills most of the day. Geoff, a lovely evening to be out there in the Mournes☀and with little to no wind👍 Those big scissors were impressive ✂ for an impressive meal😊 A cool wee spot alongside the river to camp. @@gerrymcveigh morning Gerry 👍. It was a lovely evening but like you say you can fair feel the nip in the air in the mountains. Hahaha it was either the big scissors or a really small pair, I might bring the small ones the next camp for a bit of context 😂. "Too heavy" is subjective. I've the Soto Windmaster. Great wee stove. Good regulator and very reliable and actually does work in heavy wind. It's all I use now. The Soto kit is cheaper but great quality.
    I own the flex capacitor. Had you mentioned that you were looking I'd have done you a deal. Nice pack, good quality for the price.
    The drone footage definitely improving, big time. Don't take this the wrong way, but slow your shots down. Same shots but fly very slow, matey. 😊 but good work! Looking forward to watching your progression. You two make a great camping bro couple! 😂
    Keep at it. Looking forward to the 1k sub milestone 😊

      Cheers mate. Yea think Stephen really enjoyed using the wind master. Hopefully he’ll maybe bring the big pan the next time to cook up some dinner.
      Yea you’re probably right about the heavy side, it’s down to everyone’s choices, but I do think 21kg for one night is over kill.
      I’m starting to like the drone, was out practicing with them messages you sent so cheers for that and hopefully I’ll get good use for it tomorrow.
