A still photograph of the prompter to Trump’s right side appears to show damage to the upper right corner. I think that I’ve heard that those prompters are constructed to provide some bullet impact protection. A 5.56 mm round even on a grazing wound could have inflicted more damage to his ear than shown & probably would have knocked Trump off his feet. All above is my uninformed forensic analysis. There is a big controversy with 2 different guys who said they are doctors. The white shirt guy said he is an ER doc who gave the guy CPR but he had brain spatter. (So why give CPR? His brain is mush and he won’t live). The other doc was in a red shirt. He’s an obgyn and said he knows the sound of gunfire. He said he was sitting next to the victim. He said he heard the shots come from behind the bleachers. (That contradicts the shooter being on the roof of the building to the right of Trump across the field. )He said a lady behind the dead guy got shot in the arm/hand. He said he offered to help but they had an EMT there so they didn’t need him but he was pronounced dead right away and they put a towel over his head. He said he helped carry the guy out of the bleachers to a tent behind the bleachers and they family came and was in shock. He said he thought the guy blocked that shot from going towards Trump. Those stories don’t jive. The only thing they said the same is that the guy fell between the bleachers (like where your feet go I guess). Something is very weird.
There's video of the doctor on the scene in the bleachers - that video backs up his version of the story. Shots coming from behind the bleachers is also correct - the police snipers were on the roof behind them and are the ones that shot the shooter. There's also a short video talking to Rico (can't remember his last name), the black guy on the bleachers near the victims, and that corroborates the female with the arm wounds.
Seen the black dude on tv in the bleachers looking pretty distraught after they carried out the shooting victim. If it's the same guy. You could tell he was beside himself.

There is a new video of people in the stands trying to get medics to help a man who was shot. If you were standing with the crowd, the man who got shot was to the left side of the stands behind Trump.

There is a big controversy with 2 different guys who said they are doctors. The white shirt guy said he is an ER doc who gave the guy CPR but he had brain spatter. (So why give CPR? His brain is mush and he won’t live). The other doc was in a red shirt. He’s an obgyn and said he knows the sound of gunfire. He said he was sitting next to the victim. He said he heard the shots come from behind the bleachers. (That contradicts the shooter being on the roof of the building to the right of Trump across the field. )He said a lady behind the dead guy got shot in the arm/hand. He said he offered to help but they had an EMT there so they didn’t need him but he was pronounced dead right away and they put a towel over his head. He said he helped carry the guy out of the bleachers to a tent behind the bleachers and they family came and was in shock. He said he thought the guy blocked that shot from going towards Trump.
Those stories don’t jive. The only thing they said the same is that the guy fell between the bleachers (like where your feet go I guess).

There's video of the doctor on the scene in the bleachers - that video backs up his version of the story. Shots coming from behind the bleachers is also correct - the police snipers were on the roof behind them and are the ones that shot the shooter. There's also a short video talking to Rico (can't remember his last name), the black guy on the bleachers near the victims, and that corroborates the female with the arm wounds.
