because you loved Cleopatra & Frankenstein I would say stick with it!!! I actually read Blue Sisters first and found it easier to get into the story, but I guess that's because I found the characters more likeable. I just love how Coco Mellor manages to make characters so complex and multidimensional. It feels like you're just getting to see a portion of their life instead of a starting point and end to the story. And Blue Sisters for me was a book that made me reconsider my thoughts on sister dynamics and how the same experience can really shape us in such different ways 🤍 but in the end I feel like the book is about empathy and compassion. That being said, I feel like sometimes it takes the right headspace to enjoy a book, so maybe it's something to come back to in a few weeks/months? Sometimes I just crave a light read and just slot that in for pure enjoyment before I come back to books with more complex and heavier themes. Lots of love
@@annixkoehlerYes so well said!! I’m gonna keep reading. I love her writing so i think I just haven’t been in the right headspace for some reason. Thanks for this comment tho xxx
Ooh, I really enjoyed reading 'Braiding Sweetgrass'! The author saw the world and nature so beautifully - it was poetic. Lovely vlog, Joy! Love from Auckland, NZ
Hi Joy! I really enjoyed your video it's always so cosy and inspiring thank you for what you do! Around 10:30 we can see a brown water bottle do you remember where you got it? I've been on a quest for the perfect one with a sort of straw and it seems to be a great one! Let me know! Have a beautiful day! Oh and omg those flowers are unbelievably beautiful!
If you’ve read Coco Mellors Blue Sisters. I’d love to know what you think🤍🤍
