  • A panel discussion focused on Little Round Top with National Park Service Cultural Resource Program Manager Jeff Irwin, Gettysburg Foundation President Emeritus and Historian Wayne E. Motts and Gettysburg Foundation Board member and Penn State University Retired George Winfree Professor Emerita of American History Carol A. Reardon, Ph.D. There is no better time to have a discussion focused on Little Round Top than now - with Gettysburg National Military Park’s recent rehabilitation of this significant area of the battlefield. Archeology that has been done in the Little Round Top area will be highlighted. And just some of the human-interest stories surrounding the battle for Little Round Top in July 1863 will be featured.
