❤ What a marvellous musical journey. The emotional waves calm down and open up a wide horizon. Thank you so much for this wonderful quiet moment. I love it.❤
I really wish you might consider doing a longer version of this; it’s awesome. This makes really good meditation music but it’s kinda short for that purpose!
I play a lot of instruments (serious amateur) and the low d whistle is the latest I’m interested in trying. A similar haunting, organic sound to a Native American flute, but a wider range and not as tied to a pentatonic scale.
This is beautiful. I’ve never heard this version of the song of the sea before. Did you write this one yourself or did you find this somewhere? I’ve been to Ireland and Scotland and other places a number of times and this sounds exactly like something they would play, an ancient tune or traditional melody. I have a deep connection to the sea that goes back generations, and you have captured the feeling of being upon the sea perfectly in this song. I listen to this at night to help me go to sleep I miss the sea.
Thank you, that is a very kind comment indeed! I have improvised this song in the state of flow as all my music. Only later I’ve discovered that there actually exists an Irish “song of the sea”. :) I love Celtic mythology and music and since I’ve had this Irish whistle collecting dust I’ve decided to try and play something on it…
that’s wonderful. Keep doing what you’re doing! I’ve actually been doing some research the last few months concerning the ancient peoples that travel around the world and seeds behind, that had one thing in common. They all loved the sea. It was sacred to them. I believe that they visited Scotland, Ireland, England, and many of the other island nations in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. There are connections between all of these places and even Africa so by all means, keep making beautiful music because if you’re making it on the flow that means it’s coming from your heart and that is always the most beautiful place where things are created.
So beautiful. Is there any low whistle you would suggest for an absolute beginner? I’ve heard the low A or F is easier than a D but I’m unsure. Thank you!
Thank you! The truth is I’m a beginner too , my speciality is classical flute😅 so I would not be able to recommend you much unfortunately. I only own the one in D and it’s pretty solid, if you like the sound you should just go for it. The details of the brand are in the description 💕
What key is the whistle ? It looks bigger than a low D. I play low D, Eand F and am thinking of getting a Bflat or A. I always played Burke whistles but have developed arthritis in my hands and have recently bought a Carbony Low D with close spacing which has been a lifesaver. That piece you are playing is very beautiful and haunting, I can sense the motion of the sea. Well done
This is a lovely piece. Thank you. Are you playing a low D or low C whistle? I'm just learning and would love to know as this particular sound resonates with me. Thank you
Hello Alisa, thank you so much for this beautiful music. What is your flute? Please I'm trying to find.a whistle tuned in 432hz but it's really difficult on Internet. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you so much ❤
Hi, Anthony, thanks for listening. 🌸 The name of the maker is Busker (ex Chieftain). You can change tuning of the flute by pulling the mouth piece out a bit and extending the length of the flute - thus the tuning will get lower. Use tuner to be precise - you can buy an electronic one but there are also free phone apps
@@flutespacemusic2097 I love the V5 but mine kind of buzzes on the low e note a bit. Does yours do something similar? I actually sent it back to Phil and he said it was just chiff but if so, it's definitely more pronounced on this particular note lol. If you check my videos and search for "V5 buzz" you can hear it for yourself. Perhaps I should get a tunable V5 as you have... Mine is the non-tunable version. I love it with this one exception. By the way, you play quite beautifully. I've often said that, for me, playing is a bit like meditation; it seems that we both share this in our love of the low whistle.

Noted! :) I’ve got longer videos like this but I will make one with this particular flute :)
If you right click on the video itself you can select "loop" and the video will play endlessly.

Thank you . I really like the sound of the low whistle, what brand or maker is this ,?
Hi, I love this one in particular! The maker is Kerrywhistles
How might I find a flute like this?
The flute maker is mentioned in the description box ;)
sláinte is táinte
💙🙏
How can I get the background track ?
I am glad you enjoy the background track.
Just get yourself Logic Pro and mess around with some pads :)
Do you have the tabs?
Unfortunately I don’t
Is this an original composition?
Hi, yes, I’ve improvised it on the spot
🙌🙌🙌🫀🫀🫀
is that whistle of the chieftain series? i cant see it properly, but it looks like either a v4 v5 or custom,
Yes indeed, it’s V5 👍🏻
@@flutespacemusic2097 AHHH nice

D432hz ?
..the d key don't make me feel the sea.. rather the high altitude.. 🤗
nice as well🪄✨⛰️🦅✨
good point. 432 equals A of course, what I was trying to indicate here is that the "A" on all instruments is tuned to 432 , not the standard 440 - 442
my DNA is home sick
