- This is a four part tutorial on how to successfully play a midi accordion combined with synthesizers. I had an acoustic Scandali second hand and after 5 years of owning it, all of the retaining rings that were rubber disintegrated, and the bass buttons began to fall out on the 120 bass. My dad just threw it out. Unfortunately for me I could have now being an adult, had it repaired. But now I use tyros 3 and am loving it. It was very expensive. Thank you for your beautiful demo.

Great video Lucjan. Really appreciate your efforts to show off the MIDI capabilities of an accordion. I have a Roland FR4X V-accordion, obviously with MIDI connections. I was considering buying the arranger module from Roland, the BK7M - that module has an wizard that helps easily connect to the MIDI accordion. Since they have been discontinued and no foot pedal control available for them anyway, I thought I might be better off with an arranger keyboard, that way my son who plays piano, could use it as well. Would it be possible to use say a Yamaha PSR S775, or Korg PA 700 arranger keyboard and have complete control over it from my accordion, i.e. playing the treble and control the auto style acc. through pressing the bass and chord buttons to control the keyboard's?

Hello SFAM! I enjoyed your video! What type of beginner level accordian (midi) do you suggest for teenager with prior musical experience in synth,guitar,trumpet,keyboard and what price should I expect to pay for a new instrument and for a used instrument. What would be the basic features I should look for (chromatic vs. diatonic, etc I would like to be able to add it in with my other instruments when I record songs.
