My Dad would have known about Jack Doyle .he was a huge boxing fan and boxed himself when he was in the Royal Signals before and during the 2nd world war.his enthusiasm rubbed off on me as from the age of 15 i spent many hours sitting beside my Dad watching boxing .he did eventually try to stop me watching with him but only because i couldent keep still and was doing all the actions.take care.☘☘☘
Thank you GV for giving us Jack Doyle's history and view of his grave. Such a beautiful Mural put up in 2013. For some reason I didn't get notification of this video. Was scrolling You Tube and I just came across it which I'm very glad I did. thanks GV
Very interesting. Especially love how on every video I learn Irish history that I can never found In History books. thank you so much. Keep up the great work💚👍🏻
Interesting story ,if not for the drink I believe he would’ve gone on to bigger and better things, thanks again for telling Jack Doyle’s story. Take care, stay safe and well 👋👋👋from ballarat in Oz,👍🙏🇦🇺
I love your new opening scenes and music. I have watched this episode twice, because I kept getting interrupted the first time. Hopefully that will count on your total views. Thank you for taking us on this outing. I truly enjoyed it.
Jack Doyle was some character made Alex Higgins and George Best look like lightweights, visited this grave myself based on the song The Contender sung by Tommy Fleming and actually hope to hear it sung live this Saturday, this is a real sad story
I love how you pronounce Mural as Muriel. Apparently there was a character, on a British TV series, who had a mural painted on her wall, in the belief that it would look "posh" She always called it a Muriel, which caused great laughter for viewers.
