It's funny you brought up live so much bc literally everyone was gonna tell you that you have to listen to there live performances lol. There fantastic live and really you can't miss with any of them. Mighty Long Fall, Dreamer, Cry Out, We Are, Wasted Nights, wherever You Are, Fight the Night. Just type in One Ok Rock Live Yokohama Stadium and pick one and I promise you that you'll be pleased. Also loved your guys takes. Much better than most ppl who just listen and nod. I loved the insight.
In a way I kinda hate how the fan base always recommends them live immediately. When I listen to music, I prefer to hear the studio first before the live. You need to create the dynamic by hearing the studio first, then live.
Do check them out live! You will not be disappointed!! I’d recommend you start with ‘Mighty Long Fall’ and ‘Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer’, both at Yokohama Stadium. But there are so many more… If you wanna see Tomoya (the drummer) check out the song ‘Taking Off’: there’s a live version that’s completely focussed on him.

Taka's voice is the kind that you can't contain in a studio, it's definitely more powerful live live. The way it resounded in the concert venue always gives me goosebumps. I've seen them live twice btw. He's up there with Chen for me 💕 Pls react to their acoustic jam sessions and Taka's covers of Pillowtalk and Hello!
As everyone else will tell you, this band’s music extends between different genres and are fantastic in them all! And their songs have such a deep message which people really connect to. Their live performances are almost always better… You’ve just begun an incredible journey with One Ok Rock. You will enjoy it! You will find that Taka has the most incredible vocals anywhere today. I super love it when they do live performances. Even the lyrics, has a deep meaning as well. Like the C.H.A.O.S.M.Y.T.H, each letter represents the name of taka’s friends. It's a beautiful song as well. Try to listen to it.
I think I speak for us all when I say “We want more!!!”. I suggest you listen to to their live performances (I’ve found that sometimes they are even better than the music videos) and some of their more recent songs like stand out fit in. P.S the orchestra versions are the best
I’m so happy you reacted to them! I saw them live a few years ago when they came to Argentina and it was freaking awesome! Taka is an amazing vocalist and if you watch their live shows you’ll be able to see his range more. I truly recommend you guys to watch their live performances because you can appreciate their arrangements better. One that I saw it was recommended in other comments was the ‘We Are’ 18 ver. Which i think you’ll have to have some tissues ready for that one since it’s meaningful and special ♥️ Also one of the latest songs they released was composed along with Ed Sheeran so you’ll see his touch there too.

So exciting , first , all there songs are fire , second ,the main singer Takahiro has such a beautiful and powerful voice , i love him , third , the first song i've listen to it was "Wherever you are" 5 years ago , the singing skills and the melody , the guitare sounds , the batterie sound , everything about it was fancy and perfect , all this thanks to one of my best friends who used to listen to them and requested this song 🖤🤍🖤 what make them really special , is that they dont make only heavy/metal songs , they made songs that you can hear everyday but still has the print of rock in it !! When they first debut , they were around 13-15 years old , in this video they were 20-22 ,they started at a very young age , and they are great live performers , the majority of their songs are in english+japonese , and they are so famous in japan and in the worldwide rock stage ! They gaind the fam at a very short time and they are still active now ! oh my gosh, if you're starting to react to j-pop/j-rock you need to react to BABYMETAL!! they're a girl group and one of the biggest groups to come out of japan, they are a combination to metal and pop, they actually created a genre called 'kawaii-metal'. they're phenomenal live and their vocals are actually amazing. to start with i totally recommend 'Gimme Chocolate', 'Megitsune' and 'Headbanger'(the live version).
One Ok Rock is also best thing to start with JRock tho. As they were atleast I can say have a many followers outside Japan. They are internationally well known.

They are better in Live concerts. Taka has a tremendous quality of vocals. He's been on the Top Rock Artists by Rolling Stones (I guess)

Their Yokohama performances are up in UA-cam, as well as other performances in other concerts. Hope you can react more to their videos.

Omg , One Ok Rock , yeees , my fav and only rock group i love !!! So exciting , first , all there songs are fire , second ,the main singer Takahiro has such a beautiful and powerful voice , i love him , third , the first song i've listen to it was "Wherever you are" 5 years ago , the singing skills and the melody , the guitare sounds , the batterie sound , everything about it was fancy and perfect , all this thanks to one of my best friends who used to listen to them and requested this song 🖤🤍🖤 what make them really special , is that they dont make only heavy/metal songs , they made songs that you can hear everyday but still has the print of rock in it !!
When they first debut , they were around 13-15 years old , in this video they were 20-22 ,they started at a very young age , and they are great live performers , the majority of their songs are in english+japonese , and they are so famous in japan and in the worldwide rock stage ! They gaind the fam at a very short time and they are still active now !

oh my gosh, if you're starting to react to j-pop/j-rock you need to react to BABYMETAL!! they're a girl group and one of the biggest groups to come out of japan, they are a combination to metal and pop, they actually created a genre called 'kawaii-metal'. they're phenomenal live and their vocals are actually amazing. to start with i totally recommend 'Gimme Chocolate', 'Megitsune' and 'Headbanger'(the live version).
One Ok Rock is also best thing to start with JRock tho. As they were atleast I can say have a many followers outside Japan. They are internationally well known.

I've seen them live before multiple times now and they put on one hell of a show. Taka's live vocals are unmatched.
