I could watch you all day. It's like you're my cool aunt. I'm 63 and love love love you Sandra! Thanks for all the lipstick info and colors - it is definitely my downfall...I agree on the matte - the gooier it is, the more it moves all over the place! I also learned to dab a gold powder shadow in the center of my bottom lip, over the red lip, to highlight and make your lip look fuller! I think it works!
I just found you on utube. You are so much fun to watch. Like one of my high school friends. And you’re very informative. I also am in my early 80s. Thanks for sharing your energy
@@SandraSallin No. I grew up in San Francisco Bay Area & have lived in CA all my life. It’s just that it seems that you are so much like me & my high school friends. Like I already know you. It’s your personality, and the energy & fun you resonate on Utube. Feels like each time I get together will my friends from my teen years. So thanks for sharing your thoughts on fun topics
Good Afternoon Sandra, Next time do a time lapse to see how the lipstick lasts, or bleed. I have tried the red lipstick but I am so fair skinned, it's like shocking when you look at me... So of all your lipsticks, which brand do you Love the best, not because of the colors...??? I also heard to put foundation and power on your lips before you put on any lipstick. Also only use lip liner on and then fill in with the same lip liner... Gloss after if you wish. Have you tried that yet ???? Hugs 🤗
I must say I wore the Lisa Eldridge lipstick today at brunch. I wore the Strawberry Shock. The lipstick faded but there was no bleeding. My favorite lipstick is my favorite color. Thus I love Lisa Eldridge, Tom Ford, Dior and some MACS, and Charlotte Tilbury and......
I love the Lisa Eldridge lipsticks, liners and glosses!❤️Since getting the colour Muse in lipstick, gloss and liner, as a Christmas present 2 years ago, I haven’t bought lipsticks from other brands. Thank you for this video! ❤
Beautiful, Sandra. Like you, I like a more velvet textured lipstick rather than the more emollient, glossy textures. I use the Mac Paint Pot in Soft Ochre or Painterly and using my pinky finger, I just pat some around the outside of my lip line. Similar as how you used the pencil or concealer. I also lightly powder my lips before applying lipstick and that helps the lipstick to stay in place. Lining your lips with a lip liner and filling in the entire lip is super helpful in making the color stick and stay. I love the Strawberry Shock on you. Thank you for all of your helpful hints! ~Nancy
Thank you Nancy. It sounds like you've got it all together. Thank you also for your ideas and thank you for your information loaded comment. Lots of good stuff. I hadn't thought of using Paint Pot around my lips. I'll give it a try. Good stuff.
Thank you for doing this. I liked the first lipstick, then the second…and then the third! Honestly, they all looked beautiful on you! I am going to try your suggestions. I had really never thought about the glossier lipsticks perhaps causing the lipstick “bleed”, but I believe it is right. I might order the first red. I appreciate you saying it wasn’t a blue red, and they really are pigmented aren’t they. Great job-thank you!
Interesting. Right? It’s like a dam and the light of the concealer looks pretty. You can use your eye primer also because it’s keeps things dry. It’s an easy one also.
Good Morning Sandra. Loving spending early Sunday mornings with you. Beautiful lipsticks. I prefer the blot technique. I use to wear reds all the time. Even at work as a dept. head nurse. I put it in now, and I feel like it ages me. It looks stunning on you.
@@SandraSallin I’m really into soft Rose colors during the summer. And soft pinks. I’m so very fair completed. But you have inspired me to pull my “Reds” out and go for it.
@@SandraSallin Thank you for replying - I don't know why I didn't see it. I will try the power method. I think the lipstick I have is too moisturizing and not matte enough.
WOW.............I LIKED THE FIRST ONE red the best but all looked stunning on you!I do have one question so you will get a phone call from me!ALL the colors are stunning...............LISA NEEDS to hire YOU!
Thanks for watching Elizabeth. I was thinking of you when I made this because I know this is an issue that you have. I'll be interested in which process works for you. Thanks for commenting.
Really enjoyed your tutorial 😍. All the colours look beautiful on you. I would be interested which technique you likes best after a couple of hours. Blessings from Queensland Australia 🙏🇦🇺
G’day Australia. 👍 I’ll be using all the techniques. My lipstick usually doesn’t bleed But I will be blotting and putting a barrier around my lips. I’ll be trying them all. I’ll report back if one becomes my favorite. But I’ll start with blotting. These colors are so pigmented that even after blotting they very intense.
I am so jealous you can wear those vibrant reds. I am very pale with almost no color in my skin. I end up looking like a Geisha girl who has no technique. Sigh...
The Velvet Ribbon is so beautiful!
Can’t believe you’re 81, you have great skin. I’d have guessed your age early 70’s.
Why thank you. I’m 82 soon to be 83!
Pretty colors! Your Miss Piggy mirror makes me smile😘
Thank you. I love it, I've got to learn to hold it lower so you can see my face. I keep on forgetting.
StrawberryShock looked beautiful on you!
Loved it. But I think it changed colors after a bit.
I may try these Lisa Eldgridge Lipsticks.
Try a Matte.
Strawberry shock makes you very fresh looking
Thank you. It’s a wonderful summer color. Strawberry Shock feels like Summer on my lips.
You are the tops! Your tutorial is better than any of the so-called experts I’ve seen. Keep doing videos.
Thanks, will do!
Love the 💄 sticks you chose..

I love the Skyscraper Rose. That's the perfect red that I've been looking for. You look stunning!

Thank you. It really does bring sunshine to the face. A very wearable color.
Hey Sandra! I love the Strawberry Shock. Every single red looks great on you. 👄
Thanks Peg. Just think, I used to be so scared of red. Now? I've got to stop buying them.
@@SandraSallin can't believe that! I always picture you with gorgeous red lips.
Nope, I always wore much more subtle colors. Pinks, roses and mauves.
I like the Skyscraper Rose on you!

I enjoy watching you so much and I do like all these lipstick colors! I checked out your artwork and it’s unbelievable! You are amazing! Thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my artwork. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
What shade is the lip pencil by Lisa Eldridge? Thank you for a great video.
Let me check
Hi Sandy
Do you have any pinky brown lipsticks from Lisa Eldridge so we can see what that looks like please?
I’m sorry I don’t go for pinky brown. It looks terrible on me. But go to Lisa Eldridge site and ask for help in selecting a lipstick.
Which method worked the best? I'd love to see a 5 hour check in on each method.
Thanks my problem is for some reason it didn’t bleed on me. Have you tried powdering your lips after using a pencil?
@@SandraSallin Thank you for replying - I don't know why I didn't see it. I will try the power method. I think the lipstick I have is too moisturizing and not matte enough.
Where do you get your clothes, you always look so classy and put together!
i'll have to do a clothes video. I;ve aso got to think becuse one I find something that works I repeat it. Clothes will be on my list.
