Sandra, your smile takes years off of your look!! You are such a joy to watch. At 72 years young, I still love doing my skin care and makeup and presenting my best version of me. I’ve earned the lines and crinkles, but I still want to like what I see when I pass a mirror. Thank you for the tips on makeup, lifestyle , books, etc. and above all for your honest, real content. Take good care💖💄🍷
Sandra, you have such beautiful eyes to match your mesmerising beauty. The eyes are the windows to the soul and tell so much about person. Yours are full of joy. Knock ‘em dead with those lashes xx
Not related to this fabulous make up related video, but wanted to thank you for sharing Rex Wilder’s book A Quiet Place to Land with us. When pondering what I could do to support a friend with a cancer diagnosis and treatment the book came to mind. I ordered the paperback since it is light to carry in a tote to treatment or appointments. It’s a beautiful book and is perfect for anyone! Thank you!❤
Hello again. Glad i found you. I'm going to pop you up on the big tv. I can't comment from there. Glad to learn about cleanning the brushes. Thank you. ❤🎉
Sandra. I love your make up, and brush tips. You always make me smile because your so yourself, I think, doing your videos. I’m going to try the bronze eyeliner. I think it was Nanny the other day that had a bronze also. Your a delight my friend. ✨
I've been using your method for washing brushes for years. I use up shampoos that were fails for my hair as the cleanser. But, I just read on an old fashioned bulletin board style social media site that some European women and makeup artists use Marseilles soap to cleanse brushes. I bought an unscented one on Amazon. Marseilles soap is 73% olive oil so your point about oil in makeup makes sense: clean oil with oil. The Marseilles soap cleans fast and rinses much faster than shampoo or detergent. I finished cleaning around 25 brushes in less than 10 minutes.
Wow...the painting in this video that I assume you painted is amazing...I just found your channel and subbed...Also, you are 83!! Awesome..you look great..I'm so glad I found you. i'm 73 and it seems like all of a sudden my wrinkles that weren't a big deal are a big deal...and 'hiding' them which is impossible also makes them lookworse. I think I can learn from you and I love learning.
Yes, that’s one of my paintings. Check out my name on the web and you’ll see more. I’m with you. I have a scar on my forehead that seems to have grown as I got older. I think it’s the collagen leaving my skin.
You have made me smile and I've learned so much. This technique to wash brushes is brilliant. I thought I was getting my brushes clean....your technique makes all the difference. I usually use Dr. Broners liquid soap.
Here you are Sandra with such great tips for all of us ladies fighting with our mascaras and the dreaded brush cleaning. I do clean mine close to how you clean yours. I always use Dawn. So good to see you, is Monday your new Day? Have a blessed week, can’t wait to see what you bring to us next time.
I love your videos. I started watching them recently and noticed your jewelry. Would you be able to make a video and show us your jewelry collection? I think it might be interesting. I would love to see all your jewelry pieces.
I wash most of them tight after I use them. I just use some fragrance free soap ( I have a bunch of soap that I made) and some water and brush on my hand or the silicone mat and let them dry flat on my window sill in the sun.
Such great tips, Sandra. I clean my brushes often. It’s kind of an obsession 😬 but I think I need to try that Dawn dish soap. You’re right about it cutting the oils. The highlight tricks are so very helpful. I’ve been afraid of looking like the Tin Man on his way to Oz but a light hand is the trick! Love the mascara magic❤ I will be trying it today! Thanks again. Sending love ❤from Newport Beach 🌴🌊
Wow! Thanks Sandra for all of the fabulous tips and tricks! Can't wait to try your mascara application! I'll be cleaning my brushes this morning! Have a wonderful week!🥰
Greetings Sandra! You know, I bought some inexpensive makeup brushes from Amazon and I used them to paint with (acrylics)! It worked out well even though I don't know how long they'll last. I just had to try it! I love your mascara tip, and I think I shall try it tomorrow! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
So happy to see your video . I look for it every week. Great tip on cleaning brushes. Your eyelashes look fabulous. I do put it on that way. I find the lashes close to your nose make a big difference when you apply it at the angle towards your nose. Great tip of the day!!! ❤
Hello Dear sandy I love makeup and I’m a makeup brush lover I just bought some goat hair brushes as well as horse hair and they are beautiful thanks for another great video xoxo❤
You are just fabulous! 😂
Thank you. 😊

I'm an artist too. You're reminding me why I never stayed with oil painting-because I could never figure out how to get the brushes clean!

What a great obsession. Yes, just a little works. Let me know how the mascara works. 👍
Rpher brushes are awesome. Rpher eye lash curlers are absolutely the best.
Aha, didn’t try the lash curler.

At least acrylics are not oil. Just wash them well. Look beautiful with your mascara👍

Miss sandy just a tip if you take the end of a eye brush spoily with the bristles after mascara drys it wipes right off ❤
Really? I’ll give it a try. Thanks.

Love this! Can you share what shade of Charlotte tilbury “eyes to mesmerize “ product since there are a bunch to choose from? Can’t wait to try.
Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerize in Champagne. 🥂
Amazing tips! Thank you! Can I ask what kind of makeup mirror you use?
This was a gift from By Terry a few Christmas’s ago. I always use magnification mirrors.
Ps I love pretty compacts for my purse.
Does dawn soap rune your brushes?
Not so far.
AMLACTIN has such an ammonia smell but it is good
Interesting I’ll have to go smell it again.
Black Friday
Thank you. For the life of me I couldn’t remember 😂
And of course, a real artist would have 50 makeup brushes! 😉❤️
You’re oh so right. Maybe more. 😂
Black Friday.
Yep 👍 you’re right.
❤❤ 🧹
👍
I happened to just be putting my makeup on after a haircut, the mascara tip really works.....I'm kind of amazed!🪭
