I’m 59 years old, bought myself a 911 C4S for my 50th and yes I love the 2010 (bought in 14). But in 2019 I went to San Josée by plane from Calgary and picked up a 1 owner 1985.5 944. Pristine and every single document since day 1 minus 4 months ( order sheets and all). I love that car so much, all 150 bhp of it. Original paint etc etc and I drive it, and maintain it like nothing else.
The 944/924 community is one of the Best car communities. So many fourms, events and races out there. I went to 944fest last year for the first time and met some of the greatest group of guys and gals. If you're looking for a classic 80s icon(that's still affordable) I can't recommend a 944/924s enough! Such a great "under-rated" platform.
You are 100% right about 944 fest !!! Towed our unit from Pennsylvania in 2013 ,had a great time!! Track was very bumpy but fun !! At the dinner our 951 was voted " PEOPLES CHOICE " !! check it out!😊 🚘🚘🚘📸📸📸🏁🏁🍺🍺
Awesome thank you for this.I also have a na 87 944 in guards red,I will never sell. The more I drive her the more I love her......Its winter here and snowy and cant wait till spring.I see her everyday in the garage and admire how such a design never ages.stay safe!
they r fine in snow. just drive it. put some all terrains on it. people baby these cars in the winter when they dont need to. you know it snows in germany right?
Those are the phone dial wheels, always liked those. NA 944’s came with 15’s, turbos with 16’s. Stock 15’s tires are 215/40’s, I think the 16’s stock were 225/40’s, not sure.
I have owned three 944's. An NA and two turbo cars, they are so much fun. I really like the look of the race car, so clean and well built!

I too have an 87 944 NA and aspire to make it more track focused. Love to see a list of mods done to the car. Is that available?
Alright!! I need to know were you are buying your parts. I literally been trying to get the cylinder head buckets for months already.
Just love the pride and passion he puts on his awesome ride, does someone know what wheels and tire size he's using?
