- This is a shout out to Mattias Norberg. He has a youtubechannel that are worth watching.
@mattiasnorberg
The video was made on one of his plantcourses and was a spur of the moment and not planed or prepared at all. The purpose of the video was to share it with a student who got ill and had to leave the course earlier than planed. I share it with all so more can enjoy it.
In the video we are cooking foraged plants as parsnip, burdock, dandelion, cow parsley, orpine and lichen in a fire pit. It is a very good way to cook because you can leave it over night, which we did here, and the open it in the morning.
There are many ways to prepare the fire pit. You can make stonewalls and make a fire in the pit and try to remove as much coal and ambers as possible. Here we heated the stones in a fireplace and the moved the into the pit. If you are going to cook something that needs a longer cookingtime you can make a fire on top of the pit after you closed it.
You can also see us prepare roasted cattail-cakes. They were really good. A lot of this things that you pick and prepare in the woods are as Crocodile Dundee said “You can eat it, but it taste like shit” :D But there are also good ones and we have different tast. If you bring some salt, pepper and oil/butter improve the taste alot. - Розваги
Nagulero would appreciate this good friend! I often still think about him, his Native American flutes and his wilderness videos.
I'm glad his channel is still being used to educate and spread knowledge of bushcraft. It's what Rik would have wanted 😊👍
He was my favourite.. miss him
I miss Ric's creative adventures. Thank you for continuing the channel❤
Welcome back ghost of Nagualero.Miss u man😢
Can someone tellme what happened to him?😢
I love seeing this channel post! In a hammock as I type this out. Watching the embers in the fire die out after filming all day. First time I've used the native flute in a video (still need practice). Recently reached a huge milestone of 1,000 subscribers. Ric was my inspiration for starting my channel. One day I hope to be on his level of skill. Forever grateful for this youtube channel! ❤
Mine too, ialso got a flute.
Alguém poderia me.dizer de que ele faleceu? Amava muito o canal e até hoje não sei oque houve com ele.
↟↟Have a nice one Friends🙌🏻🔥✨

Think of him often. Miss him❤
Please get the website running again if you can, I miss it so much.
Have you ever thought about turning this into a community channel? People can submit videos that are made in the style of nagulero, but showcasing different places all around the world? Just a thought.
Happy to see a new video. I was just thinking about tipi diaries last week and what a fun ride it was to see him as he embraced his passion.
Awesome cooking tecnics. I am sure Rich is enjoying this from up above. Smiling in the heaven woods. Always on our hearts Maestro. RIP

Poxa quanto tempo estava com saudade dos seus vídeos
May God bless my brother. I am so sad of his passing.
I also think of him, his unique videos are comforting. Blessed thoughts to his friends and family.
Nagualero s opened by whom?❤
The channel is kept alive by his widow Lisa and me Tobben. It was Rics last will that I would keep it alive and do contents on it. I have not been able to record any "real" videos because Rics passing still affects me alot. But it is slowly getting easier to handle so there are alot of videos in the "pipe". Going to start small with some short videos.
Today I typed in the name of this channel to see if anything new was updated. It crossed my mind today that I hadn't seen an upload in so long. When I got here, I seen that he had passed away..
Just discovering the same thing myself... :(
It has been 8 monyhs since i visited this channel and I am so happy to find this content now. it warms my soul. Greetings from Dublin Ireland, Bob Outdoors.
