- 3 days off grid in crazy weather, camping on an old moss and coniferous forest, enjoying nature, campfire cooking some tasty treats. On this bushcraft trip I experienced 4 seasons everyday. Hail, snow, wind, cold and warm temperatures. This always reminds me how the clothes on my body are always my primary shelter, they gotta handle all weather situations.
Nature and the forest creeters are for the great majority quiet and still at this time of year. Silence was almost deafening at some points on this trip, but I broke it with some tunes. The birds seemed to enjoy it. Thanks for watching - Ric

I've camped since I was a kid. But when I first saw Ric's videos several years ago it changed my interest. I wanted learn to do it in a more primitive way, all because of the first couple videos I saw. And I'm doing it and getting better at it. His being gone is a loss. For Lisa, and for all of us.

your vlogs mean a lot to me...i feel calm around trees...probably because when growing up in Canada's east coast, i would go with my father into the local forest to cut firewood(selecting only dead trees)...it is one of my most fav memories from my childhood. There was a fresh water spring running through the property...my father had a cup hanging in a tree....he would drink, then he would give me a cup-full...it was the best tasting spring water...back then...not now. ))) THX!!!

That burger should be called the "Nag burger special bushcraft " , looks so yummy 🤗 . There is a big difference from the north and south of Sweeden regarding the amount of snow on the ground , I was surprise to see you on the moss at this time of the year . Thanks for the video
