She's also been in other temporary groups from TV shows like Unnies, MCd shows on her own, hosted awards ceremonies, and has now debuted under The Black Label, which is headed by Teddy Park, YG's in-house producer and mastermind behind most of Blackpink's songs, among others. And she's only recently turned 19, as this video indicates (though it was actually a few months ago, now). Not bad going. It's especially nice to see someone who is only half Korean getting such consistent positive responses from Korean media, which has in the past been less-than-friendly to hapas.
