First time I've seen this one... say what you will about Galliano, he brought something to the table with Dior that we haven't seen since...couture for what it should be: opulent, impractical, beautiful confections that draw on many different influences ... (i.e. Jean Cocteau) ... no you aren't going to see any of these gowns jumping out of a cab but that's what the ready to wear collections are for...and shoes literally "to die for" lol ...all concepts.
That was mega. And I suppose the apotheosis of John Galliano, his maximum high point crescendo. Great to look at, a feast for the eyes, such great models working those difficult dresses and shoes like champions. It's genius, and also so over the top, but I love it. His walk/strut to get all the adulation is really something. I AM A STAR! Probably high out of his mind on something, what an ego trip this last walk must have been! But he deserved the adulation, his creations really have been extraordinary and beautiful and startling, he worked very very hard for this, for many years. A real couture artist. I wish him well.
all the supermodels are in one area. it was nice to see karen mulder in the runway again. Galliano took 5 minutes to walk the runway hehe. Give them the money shot Galliano!!!

I love when John Galiano comes to the end of the runway and is standing there with Lily on one side and Shalom on the other. You can see Lily just point her hips out just so, so the photographers can get a great pic with her in a perfect pose.

Awesome, fabulous show...the clothes, the music. Helena, Shalom and Karen should have been included with Linda, Amber, Gisele and Naomi. Naomi is a horrible Couture model though...she had absolutely NO personality in this show.
