This is still the best version to play. All of the ports have a lot of lighting and sound issues, and the camera is really warped. Anyway, this game is a fantastic piece of work. I hope one day we can get more Munch.

Me and my Ex girlfriend used to play this all day, all night for like 2 months straight! This is one of the best games for the original Xbox. I luv Munch's squeaky little wheelchair lol
It's not normal if you start the game with Munch. You always start the game with Abe. But the first time you play as Munch. You get 3 or 4 Fuzzles following you. That's because those are the Fuzzles that Munch rescued during the cutscene.
If one of the problems are the controls the pc port can support xbox 360 joystick and play with that, i don't really know who much they change the graphics, for me they look the same, there are videos, take a look.junior sucre
Abe's Power level in a nutshell Abe's Oddysee: fairly weak until end Abe's Exoddus: buffed slightly and more better Munch's Oddysee: Somewhat gone super sayian with the game speak and possession.
@ZerVeL Well, I've been playing Munch's Oddysee for the first time recently, and I think it is very true to the first games - the creatures all look exactly the same as they used to, and the natural areas and backgrounds are just like the old ones. To be honest, I thought I would have the same opinion as you before playing it but I was pleasantly surprised - it still has the same fun sense of humour, and there are so many cool things to do. If I were you, I'd get playing it asap!

Im glad they used the whole "being the last of there kind" scnerio until the last of the abe trilogy, it actually makes the concept fresh and it makes me sympathise for munch.... man my grammar sucks =/
Really? When I was a kid, I was amazed by this game! Plus, I was the only one who really knew how to play it. I was quite the gamer. (I'm 17 now, though.)
@Redfingers I agree, Abe's Oddysee/Exodus is still superior imo. Although I've only played a little bit of this...I can't really judge it just yet. Not that this game was bad, seems pretty good.
I only played Exoddus as a kid, so I may not remember the series as well or as fondly as some of you, but I've come to love this game. This first level almost made me return the game, the design is pretty bad, but holy cow does is go uphill from here. At least play until you get to the second level to hate on the game guys.
@DeanOrSomething well i emailed the production company (Just Add Water) and the CEO (Stewart Gilray) replied saying that they were FIRSTLY going to release Munch's Oddysee and Strangers Wrath using the ORIGINAL 2.5Dimension used in Abe's first two adventures which is amazing news. Also across the internet it says there will be more than a couple Oddworld productions to come so hopefully all of them will be in 2.5D, i personally fucking hope so anyway.

Hmm, I'm not completely sure, but I know that they'll be on the Vita, and the first two will definitely be included. I can't see why they'd miss Munch's Oddysee though, having already made Stranger's Wrath in HD, I doubt they'd just miss one game in the middle. That'd be a bit weird...
ah man this game brings be back like 7 years on the past i use to love this game when i was like 7 i beat the game with my twin bro but when we made it to the end of the game we always like died be cause well. we made to we did what it told us and it did a cut sean and it shower abe and muches head over a fire place a a dude like laughing or something like that, well ty for the experenice of the game again

Mind you, I know Munch's mechanics weren't as smooth as previous oddworld games or other platformers, but it WAS the first oddworld game in 3d, and it is 10 years old. It seems more like a test drive, and besides, nobody brings up how great Stranger's Wrath turned out. I hope you make it into the top rated comments list.
@dsaleem23 That was released when Oddworld Inhabitants thought they could release the full version on PS2. But they figured out they could only release it on Xbox.
@MRpigeonROCKS It plays properly in terms of gameplay, but after the Mighty Raisen area, the Sound stops working due to a Backwards Compatibility Problem.

Just found out Munchs Oddysee and Strangers Wrath are getting released on Steam for the 1st time this Christmas in a Oddworld collection pack.
The day I was born my mom gave me this game and I played it the entire time at the hospital until they took me home. It's crazy to look so far back.
