So do we need revolvers for at least 30 days before we can apply for cards or after 30 days as soon as they see the past payment history showing we paid off so and so and we will be good? If we need revolvers would one or 2 be enough plus the past payment history from another lender to get us approved
If you're looking for revolving business credit cards the fastest way to go is to do PG or personal guarantee. But you can get vendor credit or vendor accounts using your EIN although they are not revolving but you get net 15, net 30, net 60 etc. payment terms. You'll start with Tier 1 net 30 accounts then once you have at least 3 accounts reporting, you can advance to Tier 2 accounts and yes you need to wait for the payment to report first before applying for next tiers. Typically it takes 30-60 days for it reports.
Question, when you say 5 accounts are needed, do you mean 5 separate vendor accounts like uline is one, grainger is two...so forth and so on or do you mean 5 business credit reportings. For example if uline reports to your report 5 times?
