In my experience babyliss pro always has great appliances for the hair. My hair dryer is a babyliss titanium made in Italy and is wonderful, and I also have a babyliss pro titanium flat iron. They are designed for curly hair.
Your curls looks very healthy. As long you keep your hair healthy, doing your hair at home is not a problem.
Natural hair is fantastic as long it's keep healthy.
I don't like to put too many products on the hair though in long term can harm your hair.

I had the same issue… I could never get my at home silk press to be silky no matter how many times I switched products, and decreased or increased products.
I finally got the results I wanted when I used a Babyliss hair dryer and flat iron. True game changer

Yeah I dye my hair myself! Also, I trim my hair as I flatiron each section (just to be thorough). The only before and after I have were the photos from the salon ❤️

What is rhe best temperature iron to do a silk press on 4c course hair?
I wouldn’t go over 410. Use heat protectant, blow dry thoroughly (that’s the most important part), and go at a slower pace in smaller sections.

It could be the products you are using or how well you blow dry your hair or the temperature of the flat iron. I recommend doing every step in small sections!
