I forget the name of the project. A bunch of Hawaiian surfers built a historical boat (canoe) to replicate the original voyage of the Polynesians by dead reckoning. Everything was supposed to be old school-no technology. Buffalo broke the rules, brought a radio, and compromised the project's legitimacy. Then, there is the way he has always acted at Makaha. That's all I know of him, except he always seems to find the limelight. He may go down as one of the biggest azzwipes in the history of Hawaii.
