That's Rhys Fulber. He has a long history of playing keyboards and programming for Fear Factory. I saw Fear Factory live in Australia when I was a teenager (Obsolete Tour) and Rhys played keys for them.

Basically the whole dancefloor was marked off to mosh with people tagging in and out from the inner parameter. It was rough but no cheapshots happening just rompin and slamming like tribal animistical or whatever cause you know everybody was zooted some kinda way. One of the guitarist/singers got in the pit a couple times once dropping his mic and when i picked it up he let me know quick he wanted it back and grabbed it fast and the mayhem continued. Plus it was a good place for them to use their Visual Projections cause they had 2 booths (soundguy/visualdude) and a pretty big screen.
