One thing I wish WG would do is switch the tier 8 standard with the prem as it makes so much more sense. It’s quite often that the gimmic of the tank line is seen at first on tier 8 so why this line has its gimmic at tier 9 is beyond me (I know the Skoda has it but that’s an outlier I feel)

Then the is-4 was moved to the tier 10 with an introduction of t-150, kv-3, kv-4 and st-1 in the line, and the is-7 line received is-8 as a tier 9 tank which eventually turned into the t-10, which was still far off in terms of the is-7 play-style. Anyway, I do agree with you that it skoda t27 should've been the tech tree tank instead of the one and only tvp vtu. From the most recent examples of a tech tree line that doesn't make any sense, you can take a look at a Polish mediums. There is an ultra rare premium cs-52 that has a turbine engine like cs-63, yet cs-53 and cs-59 are a free XP drains without any selling features
30:45 I agree. The VTU teaches you how to play all other Czech tanks. It is the most important tank for Czech nation. Don't skip it. Skip others maybe, but not the TVP VTU! This one is a grind though. Once youre done, you will be able to get to all the locations, protect your armor, and do that 1000+ dmg with the TVP 50/51!

They should give the tier 7 a 200 damage 2 shot auto loader gun choice and then the tier 8 a 2 shot auto with the 320 gun nerfed to 300 or give the 88 mm with 240 2 shot as option . This would buff the tanks and make them fit the line better.
I actually ended up using the 10,5cm 320alpha gun on mine, i found the tank SO lackluster in every department possible, that i ended up playing it as a second/third line defensive support tank, and when i peeked, it had to be worth it dmg wise. Staying in the open was just painful, so i took the "leo-1" approach and it worked out fime.
Mission Marathons aren’t done anymore. They were kinda just replaced with the Battle Pass special chapters that give tanks. We haven’t had mission marathons for a few years now.
I just played the tier 4-8 so far on this line and its been very easy for me, and im barely a average player. Skoda T24 honestly felt like seal clubbing

i don't know it might be just me but i feel the game is more about having good armor and brawling all other types of tanks is just to give the mighty heavies some free damage

I love how you go over the equipment for the TVP and then the first game doesn't match either equipment set up 😂 It ok though, HP, turbo, and vstab is a great set up as well.
Tier 7 is the most important. You gotta master how to play with that big gun and no armour if you are going to play with the T8 especially, but with tier 9 and 10 too. It's the best tank for training this line. Don't think of this one as a grind... think of it as a training montage! 😉 10:03
In my opinion iyouxin was not playing it correctly either. You can't be a typical Md in the T-34-100. There is a reason they call it a support. Support the heavies with it and take lots of poking shots. He did great, but he always does great. He just needs to come down to the common man's home once in a while. This is the best tank in the line!
A few days ago I started to play full stock Škoda T-50 and in my opinion it was the worst stock tier 9 I have ever played. Slow, no armor and with derpy gun with only 240 on gold. Absolute tragedy, it should be reworked. Atleast out a mag in stock
I think people treating tvp vtu too harsh , it has nice gun if u choose the proper gun and better gun depression(the only thing is killing the tier 8 is competition) than tier 7 for me the tier 7 is the worse in the techtree. By the way dont treat other players like they are on your level t34-3 on overlord game shoud be a new playr in the game

This isnt super accurate since for the lower tier tanks people typically aren't gonna have the crews you do on the tank until they to 9 but most likely 10 Edit: But good video anyways thank you, I just think if you did 80% crews or 1 skill crews it would reflect better on the average users experience when doing the tech tree grind.

The T-34/100 has the most atrocious soft stats I ever experienced in a medium tank (above t4). And the position of the turret and overall shape make it worse...
The t8 TVP VTU is garbage b/c the armor is SOOOO thin you'll get constantly overmatched by every heavy in the game if u try to side scrape (30mm sides). Also has MASSIVE underhull flaps so you'll get constantly tracked & take dmg. Plus zero turret armor that will also also get overmatched by 120+mm guns

For me, the shiny tanks of this line are Skoda T25 and the TVP 50/51, the rest are quite on the bad side.

Optic + CVS for light tanks only. At least that's what I use for now. I still like to use my gun more than relying that my team will shoot.
