White Company. They were the inspiration for Band of Hawk

You posted this on the same day as SandRhoman posted about the White Company and John Hawkwood

On top of that, they were doing the series for few weeks... This one here is sus...
Albeit, this one only has 15 minutes for everything vs SandRhoman double or triple that time...

    The third group is brigand.
Bandit at the time of peace, mercenaries at the time of war.

The red wedding in Game of Thrones was inspired by the death of Roger de Flor who was killed by Byzantine king who had hired him at a celebratory dinner to avoid paying the company.
Then the remnants of the company plundered all of northern Greece and established Athens known as Catalan Veangence "Vengaça Catalana"

Wasn't it inspired by the black feast

George R.R. Martin himself said it was based on the Black Feast. Not sure why your just making up facts.

The name Almogávers comes from the Arabic "al-mugābir", which means "those who cause dust". They were men from the Pyrenees of the Catalan counties, mountaineers who were dressed in animal skins.
and leather, they were highly mobile harassment troops, as a throwing weapon they used the "azconas", very effective javelins of different sizes depending on the distance, for hand-to-hand combat they used the "Coltell", quite large Catalan knives that turned out to be very troops, the Almogàvers entered the combat shouting "desperta ferro!" something like lifting iron! In Greece they still use the Almogàvers as a type of threat to scare children, for example, if you don't behave well the almogàvers will come!

There is a mistake. Werner von Urslingen was from Swabia, but the map shows Kingdom of Württemberg. Duchy of Swabia ended in 1268 and included German part of Switzerland, Liechtenstein, middle and southern part of current german state Baden-Württemberg ( northern part belonged to Duchy of Franconia, different tribe) and Distrikt Swabia pf current german state of Bayern, perhaps also current austrian state Vorarlberg. In 1496 a new Imperial District ( Reichskreis) Swabia was formed, including the territories between Rhine, Lech river, Lake of Constance and a line from northern end of Black Forrest nearly straight eastwards. Had been HRE s most divided region, about 100 Independent states.

Gorilla warfare was extremely effective, because although gorillas did not wear armor and had poor grasp of military tactics, they compensated with brutal strength and ferocity, often single-handedly turning the tide of battle. Their impact was even greater when the battle took part in the mist...

I'm loving your summary of the military organizations (i.e. mercenary companys, knightly orders, elite units etc.) of past eras. I've long been a casual reader of history and many of these groups I've been completely ignorant of. These mercenary companies are of special interest since they're the inspiration of a core element of the *The Deed of Paksenarrion* - my favourite fantasy story.

Yeah I mean all of the mercenary companies featured in this video are impressive to be sure, but did any of them hold off an invading horde of orcs or undead? I think not.
