- We test drive the Can-Am Spyder RT Limited on real snow. It did pretty well. Sorry about all the “umm’s”, I’ll try to do better in future videos. #canamspyder #minimalism #adventure
Wow it performs much better than I expected in the snow. I figured the TC would make it totally worthless. Thank you for this pioneering test.
TC light came on briefly, but overall it did OK.
My wifes Ryker makes the same Clunk...l thought we got a lemon...apparently they all doit..😂😂😂
the traction control is doing its job. it is helping you stay in control. by limiting power when necessary.
Don’t worry about the “ums” all part of the character of your vids…
Thank you!
So tired of this weather! Here in the midwest, it should make it to 60s later this week or even 70 so you know I'll be out on the Spyder! I like your commitment to getting out there anyway 😜
Ride safe.
Oh, that clunk gets much quieter once the bike warms up and the rpm drops to 890 or so...
And the ummmm's... people seem to be uncomfortable with silence in conversation so we fill it in with ummmmm's don't we 😜
How long does it take for the RPMs to drop. I’ve tried waiting, but I guess I’m impatient.
@@SpyderMinimalist good question. Honestly, it doesn't seem to drop for me until after I have ridden a bit and am going into reverse to back in to a spot
I have that nose, ONLY in reverse!
Seems to be good winter performance. Do you know if they also sell winter tires? Dont have to be studded, just the ones that are a bit softer and made for snow and ice?
Cheers from Mexico
I don’t believe they have snow tires for the Spyder.
Winter tires are compulsory here in Quebec and, unless you put winter car tires, you cannot ride a Spyder in winter here.
I’ve heard. I couldn’t do what I plan to do if I lived there.
Take it up with Trudeau .
Using the spider in winter like that makes me wonder if there are winter tires for it.
I wish.
Ive noticed that you rarely stop completely at stop signs. Is it more difficult to start up from a complete stop? Shifting?
I think, especially in the snow, I’d rather slow roll through to avoid starting from a full stop. Some of my rides are shot in parks, and when there’s no traffic in sight I will sometimes slow roll through. Hopefully law enforcement would understand.
You are not worried about the salt that is spread on the road getting onto your ride? Underneath in the crooks and crannies of the bike?
Yes, it is a concern, but one I will live with.
How far can u go on a tank of gas
About 200 miles.
7 gal thanks

Your "um" is a pause. Some of it is personality and some of it can be over come with practice.
Yes, I’m working on it. Thanks for understanding.
I’m sorry but this is a not a too smart decision. Maybe a resident from Texas or Florida I can try to understand. But you are from Buffalo NY.
Buy a cheap 4 cylinder, front suspension car.
