Just discovered Fire Fly & Serenity....Fox was so stupid with this most excellent show....First off running it on a Death slot....Should have been 2 hour Weds premier....They would have gotten atleast 4 good years with better planning......Fox u Stink!
What's sad is that it stays good too. You literally JUST found out about it. I've known for years, and there are people that've know twice as long as I have. There's no time in the future where you'll look back and not wish this show had run longer. Personally idk why they don't just suck it up and do what Star Trek does. Just admit they ended the first one early, and make their 'TNG'.
Aired the episodes inn the wrong order, didn't air the pilot which established everything, gave it embarassingly bad marketing. I can stomach that FOX are a conservative propaganda machine, but cancelling Firefly was unforgivable.
Great theme song, all the variants, do sound good. What a petty, this series was canceled. I truly enjoyed it, short and sweet. Maybe they come back-one day.

It had a long healthy run and was quite the amusing show, but it had a lot of filler material (which is not an uncommon trait in TV). We all wish Fox had realized what it had, and I would have loved to have seen what it grew into, but I'm glad Wedon was able to make what he did at least. I think in many ways it was the most realistic look at the future (though thats arguable I guess). It obviously struck a cord with a lot of people, and I think this song and video are excellent tributes. Clear skies folks.

@rockerpoetD I know how it got cancelled. It was expensive to make, and nobody watched it because FOX aired the episodes out of order. I'm one of them. I'm so glad I went to watch it all the way through in the proper order later though.
