Great thank you. What are some gym work outs we can do to get in shape for skiing? I run a lot on the treadmill and use the bicycles but I'm not sure if they directly help me be physically ready for skiing. Thanks
She actually doesn't use weights. She used resistance bands. You can buy them cheap on Amazon. You grab one, tie a knot, put it on one side of the door then close the door. You place it on the top or bottom of door depending on if you want an upward or downward angle.
This is not golf... Both REI and the alpine sports (i.e. skiing, snowshoeing, hiking) support preserving public lands. And the people who practice these sports are educated to respect the environment. So I don't know what you're angry about
Thank you for describing which muscles should be working during each exercise. Nice work!
Great timing! Thanks REI! #PrayForSnow

Squats
For those without the weights what should replace the chops?
Medicine ball, slam ball, or use dumbbell or anything with a little weight for the chops. For bridge abducter could even use a blanket to squeeze.
Those are all like $30 online. I prefer slam ball.
