Y’know this kind of gives me an idea for P-3 So basically once you enter P-3, you’ll just see a long whitespace corridor with remains of every level floating around the hallway, you’ll see a large door at the end of the corridor slowly opening to the gauntlet in the sanctum, it’s every level connected at once, including p-2’s gauntlet, with a unawakened “flesh prison” (what do I even call it), and the room is dark first, and the lights slowly turn on, hitting you with the most insane arena full of constant enemies, and right after that’s done, an even crazier challenge appears, you need 18 SKULLS, just to awaken the prison, so you go to another corridor with 14 doors, all of them are boss rooms, and EVERY boss is behind one of the doors, but slightly upgraded, like swordsmachine will have tundra and agony and the insurrectionist with angry and rude, some of the other bosses might be radiant, or just a literal upgrade, some will be resurrected, they will all give a skull for every kill, now once the skulls are placed, the place starts to shake, and break into a million shards, and it forming back into the inescapable arena, your fate is sealed as your fighting the prison, so after the prison breaks, a prime orb will float still, and it will start attacking, and you need to manually break it, it’s like a 2nd phase, it will form a body and it will attack, but it’s easier than the prison itself, after you kill it, the orb flies to the middle, shattering, as your blinded with light, meeting the new prime soul, and after you manage to beat it, the entire place starts to crumble, you fall down the elevator back to the start of the level, your objective? Run back to the entire start, enemies will spawn once more in all of the levels, bosses aren’t included tho, but when you get back, something bad could happen, something good could happen, you might never know
seems like it'd be a little bit long... hakita said prime sanctums are meant to be 2 challenges, the gauntlet and the prime soul. maybe just cut the boss rush and skulls out, just have one constantly shifting arena where hell is crumbling (parts from all layers are falling from the sky) after a while, some other prisons are falling too, tossing out weaker prime souls left and right. (they are a common occurance, after all.) eventually, the large one falls. it endures so much fall damage the prime soul can just get out of it. "ah, you. you move fast, and i'd rather not give you prep time. let's go!" *kick*
This has always been my favorite custom level and the violence part was so good, I got jumped by the guttermen and the minotaur. Props to you to still keep the feeling of each layer and compile it all into one level! I remember hearing the new violin in the requiem remix and just going "Damn, these songs are remixed, and they're good too!" Edit: Also, I love how the songs still sound familiar yet they have that little remix that spices it up.
i wouldn't say that they're trying to make it sound like it's every level song, but that's easily explainable as "it isn't in those areas". it's more... the fact that you're rocketing through hell at an insane speed. so of course it has to get a little bit more... ACTIVE.
you should make either a separate map or maybe an extension of this one that's just some modded themes like envy, layers of grief, carcass, fraudulence (or megafraud), etc. also this music fucking slaps
I mean all I did was add some instruments and bloat the songs, but if you want them individually you can make clips of them ig, because I don't want to bloat my channel with basically reuploads of hakitas music

Basically DMC 3's boss rush mission, and about the bosses, a puppet version for the big bosses (V2, gabriel, etc) will make more sense lore wise
