I think Maw, along with spiteful blood and starfire, are the best 5 star pvp focused gems released this year. I could see Maw finally taking seeping bile out of the picture for my build. But i also believe i would need 14 maws to get to rank 6 and i only have 5 so far, so well see what happens. At least we can extract gem power without destroying gems completely now!
Im on DH and I don't pvp, with that being said I don't like the maw at all, I used mine as fodder to upgrade my starfire, 2 secs delay makes it useless imo, by the time fish comes out everything is dead, I guess its good if u push high difficulty rifts since it takes time to kill but other than that I don't c y people like it soo much

Real shame i wanna participate in the events but im using a 32gb tab so i cant download all the resources and even though i have like 7gb u need to have 15gb free to make the resources download wished they didnt put that there so i could download specific resources even though i dont have 15gb also in feb i will buy a 128gb sansung a14 for $144 gonna mis alot of events since this is a new one i lost my old one my acc got hacked and i got locked out now on the new one ive reached paragon 2 with only westmarch at 3/10 im gonna grind with barely any resources and see how far I can reach with 99% of the game locked
