I lost my 2 year old daughter After fighting 5 days.. doctor told me human can be carrier of this virus and also we should be careful while visiting veterinary hospitals, dog kennels
No humans are not carriers of canine distemper....
But if a saliva of infected dog is in our hands and we touch an uninfected dog, that dog can become infected....so always like in covid... When u go to vet hospitals dont touch other dogs also dont touch other dogs in kennels or streets....wash ur hands and sanitize....best measure is to take proper vaccination for dogs n avoid walking n visits to hospitals with dogs.also do not socialize with other dogs for now.

Do ask your vets about canine distemper...in kannur many dogs have been reported of canine distemper.. Vet doctors have confirmed more cases of canine distemper n kannur and palakkad...do check the newspapers andtv news.....also take precautions......
