Michael Jackson performing ‘I Want You Back’ 1:00, ‘The Love You Save’ 2:14, and ‘I’ll Be There’ 3:16 at the St. Jakob Stadium in Basel, Switzerland on July 25th, 1997 for a sold out audience of 55.000. I really like this venue and especially in all the crowd shots
THOUGHTS:
Sound mix sounds great, and Michael’s vocals sound absolutely fantastic as well.
I also noticed that it’s raining throughout the majority of the show, hence why the recording looks as murky as it does sometimes.
Michael walks onto a part of the platform that’s outside the railing of the stage at 5:36. Don’t know if he’s done it at any other show (he probably has)
I love this venue lol, it really appeals to me. I am also just extremely thankful that we have this show in pro, as it’s one of the best shows we have (in pro). Any 1997 show in June or July outside of Munich 07.06. is guaranteed to be peak.
