I finally got around to finishing her fight and got her style. I had to grind for grasta for over a month, but I was able to manage with Aldo, Serge, AS Claude, AS Nona, and AS Radias. Having Minalca's sidekick made it an endurance fight but I'm just glad it's done.
On first try i got kickback and i didnt saw 1T dmg shield on enemy. On second try i just prevent it + wait 1 turn with deletion and thats it. I dont even need to use Chivalry. Buffs/debuffs where enough to survive everything and Radias heal after each hit. Yakumo, Yipha AS, Iphi and Radias AS. Im not super proud by killing something with this team, but it is how it is. Its nice to see that you use something else (Isuka, Prai)! I saw Radias AS in you latest video 😈😈
After watching this video and reading all the comments, I'm starting to get the feeling this might actually be impossible for me because I don't have any of the units that others have been relying on to get through this. RNG finally chose to let me through the previous boss, but I've run into a situation where my numbers aren't big enough, plain and simple.
Coming from the future, turns out 5-star Benny's numbers are big enough :v I'm still not completely happy with this fight, I don't think it would have been possible if I didn't also have Claude ES, Iphi, and Soira AS, but it does seem less intimidating than I assumed it would be from the onset. Benedict just happens to be an easily available unit with ludicrous damage who could practically solo carry me through the fight by himself with proper support. There's not a real replacement for Iphi's unique mechanic, but Claude could possibly be replaced with Serge with a Dazzling Slash grasta for zone deployment and various buffs for Benedict (most notably crit damage). Likewise, Soira might be replaced with Starky, Garambarel, or Shion AS, though the random magic attacks in the second and third phase may give the latter two more trouble. Whoever replaces Iphi should be a debuffer or provide Cyclone Wind Immunity, but the wiki doesn't seem to have an option to search by that so I don't actually know every unit who can do the latter.
Interesting... I'm catching up after a year or so away from the game. Working on this right now. I just finished the Mailed-Sheep episode and got Benedict to 5*, but haven't played with him at all. Didn't realize his damage was so impressive. 😅 Will have to experiment. 🙂
I kind of feared they'd make those newer units mandatory for a fight at some point. From what Ive seen, this is what many people feared. With newer characters creating such a massive gap in powercreep, it was a matter of time until they'd create content that requires those massively overpowered characters. This might be the beginning of the end of this amazing game. Content like this pushes 99% of existing characters straight into irrelevance and we can only expect more of it. Even when they create several power upgrades for older characters, those are meaningless when they release almost alongside new units who still outperform them in every possible way. Remember being hyped for Mighty's or Azami's true manifest? They actually looked alright when they released. Not too overpowered but able to compete. Then all that goes right out the window as they release units like Flamme AS and Necoco AS or worse, units like Iphi, Minalca and Yakumo. tl;dr: powercreep is killing this game. Which is a massive shame because it's still one of, if not the best mobile game ever made. I don't want to see it fail. I've been here since the start.
Totally agree unfortunately. I loved experimenting with older team comps. The fact that barrier pierce, super tanks etc are “necessary” makes the game less fun. Not to mention capped buffs from AS Yipha etc.
I tried yakumo without a tank. Cant do it cuz the minions drained all his MP Switched to Alma. Did the trick. Alma is the main superboss killer period. Its almost a cheat chara now 😅
@@dskynet112 alma moves are lunatic, scope then aetheralchemia Elixir array is a must too. To reapply lunatic. I had more than 4 turns so i had to reapply lunatic. But i think there were videos of alma within 4T do you have any other buffer units? Like necoco as or clause ES or flamme AS Actually main unit is alma and iphi You just need one main debuffer and one buffer And plus alma should do it i think. Hey will, i dont know if you have a solution with the game crashing constantly after an update. Cause i cant get past the downloading game data i keep getting error code 8, if i do get past that while the cats running it crashes. Any ideas?
Hmmm, try reacquiring data (hopefully you have a save ID transfer done as well). That should clear it. If not you’ll have to contact support. Hope this helps.
Hello will I having problem with this boss I am using iphi yakumo and I missing one shade character I use rcf and starky for tanker but it not enough my starky keep dying or got knock back any tips what other character dps can supplement yakumo? Thank you don't have much option here thilelile?

@@WilMakGamerDad Unfortunately I don't have Necoco, so I used AS Mistrare as DPS, AS Soira as tank, AS Yipha and Iphi. I'm sure there could be a more efficient command, because this battle tooks me about one hour, but my girls was brave and no one died.

I used Alma, Iphi, Yipha AS and Radias AS. Buffing Alma is pretty much all I did. She was able to take her out on her own

I personally haven’t used AS Radias yet. I used her for my friend to help him beat Lavoger so maybe you saw me use her there.
Had the same DPS core, but used Alter Shion for constant Break/Magic Zone, and AS Radias because Radias/Yakumo/Iphi is broken AF

I'd say Melissa's still the GOAT, But Cerrine covers Blunt/Earth... I'd just take my time
If you have the spare chants, why not? Besides you get stones for her manifest as well. She also carries grasta for IDA

It’s more a survival issue so my only DPS is Yakumo. Alter Isuka is my shield/tank as well as Prai. Using another tank with Prai should be enough

If you have AS Necoco you can change the element of everyone to shade so bring another DPS like Flamme or Minalca
